I have not been diving since 2006 and even though I am a certified diver I felt after this amount of time I wanted to refresh my memory. Yes the video was slightly dated but it was still interesting and informative. After this we had a refresher in the shallows, and did the various safety skills etc. Once we were... More

Roger's Scuba Shack is an excellent choice to dive in Barbados. We only dove with them two days because we were at a hotel in the other side of the island, but nonetheless the team and the equipments were excellent. Lot's of divers, but very well organized.

We were in Barbados for a week on a family holiday and I was keen to get some dives in. Was recommended Roger's and found them to be excellent - friendly. organised. safe and keen to locate and point out plenty of interesting things to see once under. All 3 of my dives were led by Mark who is a... More

On a recent cruise, my visit to Barbados included a dive trip. Unfortunately, we had a rainy/cloudy day which always hurts the viz. Surprisingly, our 80' dive had decent viz and we saw a good variety of eels, turtles, and other marine life. Mark, a VERY TALKATIVE DM, led our group and always kept us entertained with a story. They... More

Truly the best choice ever made. I was very nervous for my first ever dive but I was constantly reassured and welcomed with very friendly staff. I felt so safe with Nicholas and also another guy came with us, his name escapes me now but he was always nearby. He was funny and I had to stop myself from smiling... More

I first dived with Rogers Scuba Shack last year on a recommendation. I went their with an open mind. I was overwhelmed with the friendliness of the staff and organisation. Mark was the leader for the two days and showed us around some of the many dive sites. I had such a good time I am going back in October,... More

I have had the privilege of diving the Great Barrier Reef, but I would chose Barbados any day of the week. You can wear a skin, three mil or bathing suit and you will be loving the warm, clear waters. Roger's staff from our Instructor Mark to our DMs, Josie and Nicholas to our boat captain, Mark, were entertaining and... More

Just to put this review into some context, this was my very first diving experience so I was nervous. Also I'm not a strong swimmer - another reason. Roger and his team delivered a truly unforgettable diving experience - the induction was delivered in an exciting and relaxed way and I was taken to the sea to familiarise with the... More

Have done many, many dives with Roger's Scuba Shack over the years - easily 100+ while living in Barbados 2001-2003 - and I make a point of diving with them every year when i return on holiday. Already had my PADI open water, but did Advanced through Dive Master with Roger. The staff is friendly & professional and they do... More

Myself, my husband and our Son visited Barbados in May 2014. Our Son (18) has always wanted to scuba dive, so we booked this excursion via our Virgin rep at our hotel. Please note that we were informed that you cannot dive if you are flying within 48 hours - so don't book this for your last day or two... More
