We went to the Boatyard for a day trip off of our cruise. I was aliitle worried about going after reading some of the reviews posted. We had a wonderful time. There were 16 of us and not one of us could think of anything negative to say (and it evened rained...lol). The kids (ranging for 7 to 14) had... More

We discovered The Boatyard several year ago and have been visiting it every time we are in Barbados. You would never know from the outside entrance just what a great place it is. The owner has done everything possible to make it a fun place to be. It will cost you $12 a person which will include entrance, a chair... More

Expensive for what it is, if you are not on a cruise ship you must pay $20 US each which is supposed to be claimed back at the bar but you must spend the $40 all at once as they do not give you back your slip, for our $40 we got 2 lemonades and a cocktail, the staff at... More

This is not your place if you are over 40, have small children with you, or prefer quite relaxation. However, if you enjoy cold beer, volley ball, small swimsuits, and a good time, don't miss The Boatyard. We, my husband (29), me (31), and our married friends (28), stumbled onto this place. We were on a cruise and docked in... More

We go to the boatyard every time we're in Barbados off of a cruise ship. Great place to spend a day. Beach is great - white powder sand. Clean facilities. Fun place for everyone, we've been there as a couple, with friends and also with our kids on different trips. Rope swing off the pier and water trampoline are great.... More

Stopped here for lunch on a day we rented a jeep to do our own thing. We had a great lunch and stayed to enjoy the beach. Our kids loved the waves here!! Staff was friendly and we had a great time. More

My husband and I walked from the cruise ship heading toward any beach that looked accommodating. After maybe 2 miles, we luckily stumbled upon The Boatyard. We spent $12 pp to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella. The entry also got each of us a free rum punch drink and a free shuttle ride back to the ship. Perfect! The... More

I am had such a great time at the boatyard when I visted in January with my fiance. The staff were very frendly and the music was great. The rain fell in the afternoon but that made the day even nicer as the staff called it liquid sunshine and we ran to the bar to get some drinks and even... More
