Stayed 2 nights at the beach accra resort so used the broadwalk about 6 times. Great views day and night and a view very nice eating drinking spots.Love the mirror back drop of the Tapas bar so you see the ocean in all directions and the burning urns in the evening. Not all the broadwalk is in one section so... More

Such a beautiful walk on a lovely sunny afternoon. A great idea by Barbadian goverment but has so much more potential in terms of adding bars / cafes etc. I would recommend suitable footwear though as it can get quite hot on the soles of your feet. Also quite slippy in places. Nice for a jog too. We felt very... More

The boardwalk is great for walking with a stroller, as we did. As we got closer to the end, the buildings started looking very run down and quite a few were abandoned hotels. If I (female) had been walking alone, I would have been a bit uncomfortable. There are a few eating options along the way that looked nice, but... More

The photos on websites looked absolutely lovely and I even put this on my computer Wallpaper prior to the holiday. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, the construction is excellent and must have cost a fortune but the Government have just not made the most of it, it starts nowhere ( even our bus driver was not sure... My husband and I enjoyed portions of this walk. It was quiet, but safe. The view is unprecedented. We found umbrella covered tables to enjoy mid day lunch, protected from the sun. And enjoyed a romantic late night ice cream while watching the crashing surf. Offers a nice peek at restaurants along the beach that you might not see from... More

Barbados is a third world country. This restaurant is okay compared to the alternatives. Food is average, and the menu is not impressive. Spend a little more money for a much better meal at Champers or The Beach House in St. James. More
