My wife and I visited Barbados in March as a port of call on our cruise around the Caribbean, I was determined to break away from the 'rip off' trips that the ships organise - and hopefully save a bundle as well. We eventually went for the half day jeep/half day catamaran trip - glad we did. Of all the... more

Wow!...what a way for a first-timer OR even someone who has visited the island before to start their holiday on this unique island! On the Adventure tour, we got a close-up tour of the north end of the island where the Atlantic is crashing against the rocky cliffs, the center of the island where life is productive and the hilltop... more

our trip to barbados was fantastic. there was so many things to do. when we took the island tour there were so many sights to see.the best would have to be walking in a cave right above the atlantic ocean. a beautiful sight indeed. of course, it was hard not to slip & fall but all & all the trip... more

My friend and I had arrived in Barbados 6 days before we went on the safari, which was scheduled to take place on our penultimate day there. What a mistake!!! It simply made me realise that I never wanted to leave the island! We were picked up after breakfast, and being typical Brits on holiday were were late running downstairs... more

BEWARE!!!!!!!! Me and my family were excited to go on this tour. After booking sent many e-mails with questions that got no reply so had to call from the US and it cost $15 dollars to speak with them due to them not replying to e-mails. Paid 25% deposit by credit card and was told to pay IN CASH after... more

My wife and I had a fun time on this tour of the eastern part of the island. This was a great way to see the east coast down to Bathsheba, and it made for some wonderful photo opportunities. Our driver was very nice, and entertaining as we drove around the island. My one complaint is that there was too... more

I was disappointed in the safari as there was just alot of driving not enough stopping to see the sites. As you are driving the guide points out the parish and the local church and then the next parish and the next church. In the distance we saw the rum factory, we saw the crops growing, we went through the... more

Just returned from our Barbados trip the 1st week in May. I booked a safari tour with Island Safari's online form and well as their relatively new Thrillerboat ride by email. I received email confirmations for both b4 we left. On the first day of arrival, we received a phone call at our hotel asking to postpone the Thrillerboat ride... more

My wife and I recently visted Barbados and chose to do the Island Safari as an excursion. What a great and fun decision! The driver we had was very knowledgable about the island and it's history and we saw basically the whole island. We loved the journey, the 4X4 sections, the lunch, and the continuous "jungle juice" stops! Highly recommend... more

My daughter and myself so enjoyed the Island Safari day out. Our guide was superb, giving really good chat and loads of details, stories, etc. as we went along. After enquiring whether anyone was either pregnant or suffering with any back pain, he then took us on the most hilarious 4 wheel drive, up, round, over, down! His hospitality and... more
