My wife and I plus grown up children and partners went to Fisherpond House on the recommendation of friends who had eaten there in December. Finding the house is a challenge, even with the aid of map, but the adventure in reaching your destination only heigthens the anticipation. We mere met at the door and escorted to the garden where... Our family visited Fisher Pond today for lunch and had a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the people. We started with drinks on the back patio- complete with lush greenery, orchids, and birds (caged). We moved inside the house and were able to enjoy the surroundings -antiques, chandeliers, paintings and wonderful piano accompaniment. The food was great-... More

Decided to have a private brunch without the kids and the Fisherpond House seemed like the perfect place. Located in the middle of the island, make sure your taxi driver knows how to get there, ours didn't and it took 30 minutes extra even with directions from the owners. Started with a drink out in the garden surrounded by parrots,... More

Went to Fisher Pond for Father's Day lunch with a bunch of the family. We are locals, so get the opportunity to go when we want but if you are visiting, out of all the restaurants you could go to, you must make sure you go there. Fisher Pond is not a traditional restaurant. It is an old Plantation House... More

Beautiful setting, stunning house and gardens. Delicious food (5 courses, mostly buffet). Plenty for veggies, fish and meat eaters. Calm and serene, yet not at all stuffy. Slightly 'camp' in a good way! Smart casual dress. Excellent hosts. Totally enjoyable. B$105 for Sunday lunch and worth every penny. More

10 of us booked for lunch this January. A devine setting, the house is breathaking, service great and food plentiful and delicious. The floral decoration on the buffet table and tables were stunning. Make sure you take a wander around the delightful garden. Aboslutely lovely and a real treat to enjoy someone's private home in such a way. A must... More

We had our wedding there and the staff and owners did an outstanding job. We looked at a few Barbados plantation houses to have our wedding at and we are sure this was the best choice we could have made. More

My partner suprised me with a Sunday Lunch at Fisher Pond during a recent holiday at Paynes Bay. The actual place is not sign posted and is off a dirt track. The place took my breath away, it was like being taken back in time to a wealthy plantation owners house. We sat out in the garden before the meal... More

Recently we had the opportunity to visit Barbados as a port of call on a 10-day cruise. Of the many tours available on the ship, we found a visit to Fisherpond House intriguing. The tour was offered in combination with a visit to Orchid World. Upon arrival to the house, we were greeted by the owner, John Chandler. A refreshing... More
