We found that Harrison's Caves were disappointing due to the fact that it wasn't as natural as we were expecting. They had an electric train that transported us around via a man made road through the cave. It was slightly disorganised and quite pricey. I can think of better ways to spend $110 (barbados dollars). more

Harrison's Cave is a 3 mile long subterranean cave with stalactites and stalagmites and an underground stream and waterfall. depending on your taste of sight seeing, I feel it was a love or hate thing... for me I would have loved to see it in its natural state. We first tried to get in on a Thursday afternoon to be told that it was fully booked and also booked out on the Friday. We managed to reserve a slot early on the Saturday morning. Harrison's Cave is a great site (not the largest or most impressive cave I've ever seen) - but in combination with it training locals in learning new skills (leading tours, etc) - I highly recommend this attraction.
