My family and I, including 2 children, took the tour on 5/20/12. The facility was well maintained and the staff helpful. It was great to be able to take in the history of the cave and view the amazing stalagmites and stalactites and hear about how they were created. Beware that you will be wet by water falling from the... More

Visited this attraction with our Barbadian friends and our 17 month old daughter. The introductory exhibits were well done but we didn't get chance to spend much time there as our tour was leaving straightaway. The cave itself is nice but not the most spectacular cave we've seen. Our view was partially obscured by those sitting in front of us although... More

I would recommend this to anyone visiting Barbados who hasn't seen stalagmites & stalactites. A really nice place to visit and yes, you will get wet and yes you traverse the caves about 4 times (from up to down and left to right) but it is a sight to see - so don't worry about which side of the cart... We visited the caves in May 2012 following our first trip in 2005. The tour guide was amazing and the caves truly magical however we never saw very much or able to take pictures as everyone was standing up and blocking our view all of the time. Our tip for this tour is go in a quiet moment or you... More

The caves really were wonderful. I wasn't sure what to expect with them but as the train moved into the caves it was beautiful. The tour guide gave lots of information which was good. The also turn all of the lights off and one part and sitting in utter darkness with just the sound of dripping water around you was... More

Ihave visited this attraction 3 times. That says a lot about it. The tram ride into the cave is very nice. When they switch off the lights momentarily to relive the experience of the original cave explorers, it gives you a chill running down the spine. It is well worth the money spent. It is coll eventhough it may be warm... More

The site is very well organized, with elevators taking you to the bottom of the gully, lots of small boutiques/souvenir shops, state-of-the-art introductory video screens, and a nice little train ride. A very knowledgeable and very funny guide took us down and down inside the cave, mixing interesting scientifical details with local stories about the beautiful and particular stalactites and... More

We did the trolley tour. Took approximately 1 hour to go through the whole thing (30 minutes back and forth). The formations were very cool to look at and they allowed you off the trolley twice to look around and take pictures. This is definitely something I would recommend seeing once in your lifetime, but I don't know that I... More

We took our 9 year old nephew to the cave and we really enjoyed it. The video previous to the tram tour was informative and the ride through the cave was very interesting. The stalactites and stalagmites were beautiful and the underground river and pool were very interesting. This is a great indoor diversion if you want something to do... More
