The lighthouse offers a great view from the top, very pretty aerial view. Easy to get to on public transportation and worth the stop in my opinion while on the way to the beaches, Hamilton, or Dockyard, etc. (#7 bus drops you off basically at the end of lighthouse road and i believe the sign said it was 0.4km up... more

Definitely worth the $2.50 and the 180+ steps to the top. Views are amazing in all directions. We did this toward the end of the day and it was great to see where we'd been all over the island. There's a place to stop every 20 or so steps so it's easy for those who aren't in the best of... more

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is certainly through whatever repairs have been made, and it's a great way to see Bermuda. (Again, get off the bus by the Henry VIII restaurant, and talk a stroll up) . Steps to the top still closed as of March 2006, but the views of the island from the ground level were still spectacular. The lowest prices we found for trinkets! E.g., a magnet we saw elsewhere for $4 was only $2 at Gibb's. more

My family enjoyed visiting the lighthouse. If you are staying near the lighthouse and are able to walk to it, it is worth the trip. It is quite a workout walking to the top! Although you can't go outside it, the view is still neat to see. more

Vistited Gibb's lighthouse in July 2005. Its $1.50 per person to go inside the lighthouse. The walkway around the top is closed for reno's so you can't see much at the top of the stairs other than the light equipment. The outside railing is rusting away and obviously unsafe.
