We've often visited Masterworks in conjunction with visits to the Bermuda Botanical Gardens. The museum is small but always perms to come up with interesting displays of art much of which is centered around Bermuda and her history. There is a small coffee shop there also which could easily work for. Lunch or snack.

This museum hidden on the grounds of the Bermuda Botanical Gardens can be a bit hard to find but it has a solid collection of Bermuda-themed art. The only catch is it is not always on display due to special exhibits being featured. However, you can request a visit to the archives to see the beautiful artworks that are stored... More

We enjoyed our visit and private tour of the Masterworks collection. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the stories of the many artists who have visited the beautiful island was fascinating. I highly recommend a visit!

And while all the paintings and artifacts are precious and priceless, the enthusiasm that Mr. Butterfield has for Masterworks is immeasurable. Thank you for taking notice. More

All the Museums in Bermuda are awesome and a must see especially if you have kids. We were amazed by the arts and the amount of history that is packed in these museums although a small island. Way to go Bermuda. LOVE YOU. See you soon.

Do not miss this magnificent museum nestled oo the edge of the Botanical Gardens. The collection is wonderful, and the story of how the museum came to be is even better. The vision and mission of the enterprise are exuded by all who are involved. If the Homers and others are not hanging, ask to be taken to the archives.... More

Love this place. We were her last Dec and saw the Rudolph the red nosed reindeer exhibit with the real claymations from the TV show, How cool and random but the creator is from BDA. There is a modern section as well as a history of Bermuda and a café. If you walk from Hamilton (its far) stop by Fort... More

A good history of the island in pictures. Famous painters such as Frank Stella to Georgia O'Keefe. Check out the Members room upstairs for an incredible view and tremendous Art Book collection. Another bargain among very few to be had.

Masterworks was a unexpected highlight to my first visit to Bermuda! The exhibits were beautifully presented and the range of art was surprising. The special 50 years of Rudolph was a treat! Our small group viewing of the masters collection by Mr Butterfield himself was delightful! Add this to the beautiful Botanical Garden grounds ( and the yummy lunch at... More

This is excellent Cynthia. Thank you for your review. Here at Masterworks we strive to be different and prove that bigger isn't always better. We are small and quaint and therefore can put more energy into producing a quality exhibit. Right now, "Rudolph & Friends", is one of the museum's greatest accomplishments and Tom would be happy to tell you... More
