After the Botanical Gardens we visited the adjacent Masterworks Museum. The current exhibit was A Tale of Two Cities detailing how St. Georges and Hamilton developed through the years. I was vey interesting and where we spent most of our time. The second floor gallery was closed and the gift shop was under renovation (much to the dismay of my... More

Good Day John, We would like to thank you for taking time to review Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately during your visit the Mezzanine level gallery was closed as was the Arrowroot Gift Shop, this was most unusual as we are preparing a space for a small show dedicated to Arthur Rankin the creator of Frosty The... Lovely combination of strolling through the gardens, viewing art inspired by Bermuda, and eating at the excellent Homer's Cafe. Especially enjoyed the added bonus of the " Ever the Twain shall meet" exhibit on the second floor. Can only say we relate to Mark Twain's statement " You can go to heaven if you want. I'd rather stay here in... More

The Museum of Art was a delight. The art was displayed with great care, and there was a lot of background information to each picture. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Everyone, it seems, has visited Bermuda. Mark Twain, John Lennon, Georgia O'Keefe, Homer....and their works are here to view and admire. Becoming a member gives you access to the tranquil and well sited Members Lounge. But for tourists like me enjoy the collection of things related to Bermuda - some by the rich and farmhouse, some about the history behind... More

This gallery of Bermuda art is located in the Botanical Gardens on the eastern edge of Hamilton behind the hospital. It contains works of Bermudians and 'offshore' artists who visited Bermuda over the years. It is a small delight, with rotating exhibits occupying small but elegant spaces. There is also a small cafe serving good lunch and break food. Eat... More

Very nice exhibit. Good cafe and a nice experience. Since I have to use 100 characters minimum will just fill up space. Minimums are not value added in my humble opinion.

Another wonderful trip to Bermuda! A highlight last year and this year was visiting the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art. Last year I enjoyed viewing the "Drawing with Light: Photography in Bermuda" exhibit. I would have loved to take home many of those images! This year I enjoyed a tour of the vault during the www.wineandleisure.com interview. The tour was led... More

I visit The Masterworks Museum twice a year and am always pleasantly surprised with the scope and diversity of the collections on display. Masterworks is a perfect example that you do not need a lot of space to make a magnificent impression. A must for fine art lovers and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Two years running I have visited The Masterworks and have had my socks knocked off by the exhibits. 2013 an exhibit on the camera and photographs of Bermuda since it's inception. Other than being blown away by the history of the island in images, every known camera style was on exhibit, including my first - the Polaroid Swinger. Even the... More
