Had a lovely picnic atop of the bay. Toilets are very dirty and have a shocking stench. Before tackling the stairs down it is a shame that a container is the first item you see.We were unlucky to get a choppy day but we snorkelled regardless, shame about the rough seas but we made the most of it and it... This beach took us some time to find, as we were not careful watching the signs. In Bermuda most beaches are labeled, so it's easy to find them while on the road, but we seemed to have missed one a few times. This is a very nice quiet beach, not much snorkeling but great for swimming and hanging out on... More

The south side of Bermuda is home to South Shore Park which encompasses a number of beautiful beaches. It stretches from Horseshoe Bay in the west, to Warwick Long Bay in the east, with many smaller beaches and coves in between. The park is free, as all of Bermuda's beaches are public, and there is a walking path inland a... More

The pictures posted look like mine, the walk over to the coves along South Shore Park is one of the most beautiful ocean vistas in the world. Chaplin's Bay is our favorite cove. It has everything Bermuda is famous for - soft pink sand, turquoise ocean lapping against rock formations and safe solitude - even in busiest of times. This... More

In Southampton there is a series of beaches that either connect to each other or are very close distance and they are all beautiful. This is one of them.

This beach was recommended to us on a snorkel catamaran boat ride by a native Bermudian. It was spectacular. We were guests at the Southampton Fairmont hotel nearby, and it was well worth the seven dollar cab ride.

WEBSITE http://www.bermuda4u.com/sights/chaplin-bay/ The bay/beach in on the South side near (but a long walking distance from) the Fairmont Southhampton. You can get to Chaplin's Bay beach via walking the Horseshoe Bay beach. Walk to the end and around and over some rocks and small inlets. You can also take the sandy but firm trails along the beach. If you decided... More

We wanted to go to Jobson's Cove but saw the amount of people there and kept walking! We came to Chaplin which only had a couple people so we dropped our things. The water was pretty rough the day we went since a storm had come through a day or two prior, but we still went snorkeling. The water was... More

This beach is just another stop along the southshore area. We walked to all of the beaches by a trail. We did not spend a whole day here but rather stopped and swam and continued on the path toward Horseshoe. There was a person set up renting umbrellas and chairs in this area on one day but didn't see him... More

After taking a cruise to Bermuda, was excited to get to Horseshoe Bay, found it crowded and not like I rememebered. Asked a local to recommend a less crowded beach, and she told us to try Chaplin Bay. it was beautiful. Prettier than Horseshoe Bay and there was maybe 8-10 other people there. Young man was renting chairs and umbrellas... More
