This was one of the highlights of our day in Hamilton. We are not much on shopping so walked over to the fort it was definitely work the walk. Interesting cannon mounts etc, much of what you would expect from a Caribbean fort. More

Slightly interesting place to visit, some history, but not a huge amount to see really. Great view over Hamilton. Caution - When leaving the site, if you are walking, DO NOT exit right down Happy Lane.. go LEFT and walk back down into down. We made this mistake, and ended up going into one of the few gang areas, it... More

Luckily we were the ONLY people during our visit. Surprisingly well looked after. Groomed gardens, cool breezes and excellent views. A great stop on your visit to Hamilton. More

One of the best spots on the Island to view the capital and beyond. The under the moat garden is not to be missed. In the November through March period enjoy the Skiirling Ceremony with members of the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band. More

This site is more like a park than a fort. A nice place to have picnic. Great views of the water and Front Street from the fort. More

The Fort is a piece of Bermuda's history, but also a beautiful collection of flowering plants and shrubs with manicured lawns. Beautiful spot for a stroll on a sunny day. The gardens even extend down into the moat surrounding the fort. More

Fort Hamilton is within walking distance of downtown on top of a hill overlooking the city. It is a fun place to explore, especially if you have young children, and have a picnic lunch. There is no entry fee. The moat is filled with tropical plants and worth walking through. Unfortunately, the moat was closed when we lasted visited. When... More
