A very pretty park which is marred by the homeless that hang around in it being a nuisance. Shame the name was changed as well.

Park was in full bloom, flowers were very photogenic. Visited the moon gate. Watched the wild and roaming roasters. Was told this park was much better than the botanical gardens. Free admission and very short walk from ferry terminal.

Just about one block up Queen Street from the ferry in Hamilton is Par-la-Ville--now called QE II Park. It is just behind the Historical society. It is small but we quickly got acquainted with some of the local fauna & flora. There were chickens and kiskadees, a beautiful Royal Poincianas tree in the center, some statues and even a koi... We went to Hamilton on Labor Day so the city was shut down for the most part and there were very few locals out. As a result, we had a nearly private day at this park which is situated right downtown. It was a lovely city park with interesting trees and flowers. It was a great place to take a... More

Its a lovely peaceful park on the edge of the town and midday saturday is a Gombey demonstration where you get a better look than that of Harbour night because they are in a square and it is easier to see. The park has some lovely sculptures and statues and plenty of shade where to eat lunch or drink coffee.... More

We stopped for a spell to get out of the heat an crowds. We spent a while chatting with an older lady who was feeding stray cat and chickens under a trellis. There were several sculptures including a couple next to koi pond. Very peaceful. It was full of tourists, locals and folks in business attire on break. This is... More

A very nice little park tucked away in the middle of Hamilton. It is now called Queen Elizabeth Park. We entered by a series of (almost hidden) steps off Par-la-Ville Rd. but there is a larger entrance on the other side of the park off Queen St. Some interesting artwork and wildlife reside here. Definitely worth a stroll and there... More

Nice spot in Hamilton with a Moon Gate and for a quiet stop in the city itself. Lots of locals hanging out for lunch, etc. Is fairly central, so if you're exploring Hamilton, an easy little stop with good amounts of shade
