The beach isn't maintained in the off season: the seaweed is deep and stinky, there's lots of garbage, and it's not worth the trip.

Simply breathtaking... so beautiful, and only a short walk from the St. George's Club where we were staying...

This is a fabulous beach - small but very sheltered. Swimming and snorkling is very safe. The best fish were beyond the rocks. The beach café is closed between November and March so you will need to bring a picnic but there are sun beds available so you can soak up the ambience very comfortably

This is a fab little bay but get there early as it is popular with the locals and the cruise ships drop their cargo of here too!!! We got here early morning and were happy to stroll back into St Georges by the time it started to pack out. Good facilities as well.

The kids loved Tobacco Bay. It was easy to get to from the St. George Club and it was not crowded. The water was very nice and clear.

We came on the 9:30am ferry from the NCL cruise and wanted to spend the day in St. George before the 3:30 ferry back. After the morning of shopping/eating we walked up and over the hill to find Tobacco Bay. It was a great shallow beach with a beautiful view. It was nice to have a place to change and... More

My daughter took me to Tobacco Bay for my birthday today. The snorkeling was wonderful (as always), and after a good workout in the water, we ordered lunch from the food stand & bar. We sat on the terrace, enjoying great music and the fabulous view of the sheltered snorkeling area. The clouds were gathering though, and an employee explained... More

We ahd rented a house within walking distance of Tobacco Bay. Yes, it's a small bay and when the cruise ships were in it got a little crowded but we had no issues finding space to put our towels down. The bay is beautiful. The water is clear and calm and there is some snorkeling that can be done by... More

Tobacco Bay is a great place to spend a few hours or an entire day! it's a great place to swim and there are an abundance of fish to see while snorkeling in Tobacco Bay. The staff are SUPER FRIENDLY and the drinks and food at the bar are fantastic! I had some excellent fish and mac 'n cheese while... More
