such history here, it's like your brought back into time when they ran out of pounds to finish it. it's tough to find ,but just ask for the unfinished church to any local and they send you there . The Bermudians are the nicest people i've encountered in my travels.

The first Friday in December the historic houses in St. George's are open to the public to view, and the Old Rectory is worth the mingling through the crowds to see. The oldest house in the town, and second oldest in Bermuda, its brimming with history and lovely Old Bermuda architectural details. Although modernised for present day living, the house... More

Interesting and informative. Housed in a lovely old building with a history of its own, this small museum is well worth the $5 admission. The intro film is pretty darn good and the the exhibits are worth the visit. It also has a nice little gift shop. The volunteers who run it are very nice too.

We were able to view the inside for 'free' during St. George's annual Christmas 'walkabout' and found the beams and limestone ceiling beautiful in the night light. The interior is very austere, but indicative of those times. I would rate this attraction higher if it were one of 'voluntary contribution', but there's always been someone present to collet money when... More
