Although the bar and bathrooms (no tp or soap) left much to be desired, the beach/water were PERFECT. Our family (39,40,4,1) had so much fun here. No big waves. Clear water (perfectly named). Cool to watch planes fly overhead to land at the nearby airport. This is where locals go. You can get here by public transportation or a new... More

What a great little beach. The bar and restaurant were great. A lot of locals hang out there and you get a real taste of Bermuda. Try the Wahoo nuggets. The greatest fish nuggests there are. Everything was reasonable price. The chairs and umbrella to rent are only $5.00 each with no deposit. Ask for Marlin he will hook you... More

Clearwater is a lovely long & calm beach suitable for families and lazing around. picture postcard beauty - but remote and therefore no facilities. it is therefore often empty and / or frequented by locals. it is a walk-in from parking at Turtle beach - through the old NASA base gates (like a scene from a 60s sitcom) As it... another of Bermuda's idyllic gently shelving beaches especially good for families with children who want a safe place to swim and dig the sand.

Gorgeous beach where you will find almost no tourists. I was taken here by some local friends and walked to the Bach at the end of the former base. Long stretch of powdery sand perfect for relaxing. Snorkeling is not great as the fish are limited, but great place to swim.

At the far north end of Bermuda is Clearwater beach. You can get a drink or two at Gumbys beach bar while enjoying a fairly private beach. The beach is perfect. Not too big not too small. Not too many people either. Tucked away in a nice cove you can watch airplanes land at the airport and swim in Bermudas... More

My wife and I visited Bermuda via cruise ship for 3 days. Exploring new places is a favorite of ours, never staying too long in one place so we can see what else is out there. We heard Clearwater beach was out of the way, uncrowded and absolutely gorgeous. We jumped on our moped first thing one morning and set... More

Set on the very north tip of the island adjacent to the old US Air Force base. As with all Bermuda beaches, beautiful pink sand and this is another terrific snorkelling spot. Spent a wonderful afternoon there.

Initially, I was put off by the description of the beach being very close to the airport and its distance from our hotel in Warwick, but some people we met at our hotel encouraged us to try it. I'm so glad we did. We had been to Horseshoe, which really is gorgeous, but very crowded, and also to Elbow Beach... More
