Gorgeous beach where you will find almost no tourists. I was taken here by some local friends and walked to the Bach at the end of the former base. Long stretch of powdery sand perfect for relaxing. Snorkeling is not great as the fish are limited, but great place to swim.

At the far north end of Bermuda is Clearwater beach. You can get a drink or two at Gumbys beach bar while enjoying a fairly private beach. The beach is perfect. Not too big not too small. Not too many people either. Tucked away in a nice cove you can watch airplanes land at the airport and swim in Bermudas... More

My wife and I visited Bermuda via cruise ship for 3 days. Exploring new places is a favorite of ours, never staying too long in one place so we can see what else is out there. We heard Clearwater beach was out of the way, uncrowded and absolutely gorgeous. We jumped on our moped first thing one morning and set... More

Set on the very north tip of the island adjacent to the old US Air Force base. As with all Bermuda beaches, beautiful pink sand and this is another terrific snorkelling spot. Spent a wonderful afternoon there.

Initially, I was put off by the description of the beach being very close to the airport and its distance from our hotel in Warwick, but some people we met at our hotel encouraged us to try it. I'm so glad we did. We had been to Horseshoe, which really is gorgeous, but very crowded, and also to Elbow Beach... More

I have friends who live in Bermuda and they suggested visiting this beach. So glad I did! It's a really quiet beach, you won't find big crowds here. It's not the easiest to get to- it's a bit of a walk from the bus stop. It's out near the airport so you might see a plane landing or taking off!... More

We spent an entire day at clearwater beach based on the recommendation of a bermuda native we met. She explained to us how awesome the beach was and how there was a very good bar and restaurant right on the beach named Gombeys. The Beach itself was very private and absolutely beautiful. Shallow waters allow you to really explore and... More

This beach is not easy to get to from most places on the island. We took 3 buses to get here on advice from locals that said it is the best on the island. We agree. We came back the next day and spent the whole day! It is uncrowded for sure! There is a restaurant called Gombeys. Marline was... More

First of all, what it isn't...Crowded with cruise ship patrons. Nothing against them, but the boats don't unload huge crowds here! Second, what it is...Beautiful sand, uncrowded, decent facilities and a decent bar if you need food or a beer. We actually came to Clearwater to go beyond to Turtle Bay, and Cooper's Island. There are great beaches just beyond... More
