John Smith is the least crowded of the public beaches on the south shore. The waves are rough, though. It is easy to get to even if you don't have a scooter: the bus stops right by the beach.

We went here one day last month when Warwick Long Bay was overrun with Portuguese Man of War. We saw only one at this beach. It is small and right off the road, but nice.
