Great place with excellent service far away from crowded hotels shores... In the town of San Nicholas, real Carribean...
if you spend the day at baby´s beach you must stop for a beer in this bar. The atmosphere and service is excellent, is one of the oldest bar´s in the island. the location is not the best but that´s part of the history of the place. definitely a place to stop by.
Great place to have a beer or other beverage. If you are visiting Baby Beach, you need to stop by here on the way back. It's a tourist trap for sure, but in a good way.
We - 2 adults with two kids (9 and 7 y) - have visited the place during the weekly local festival in the mainstreet of san nicolas. The area was save due to the presence of the local Police and the local traders. The bar is as described before a good place to drink a beer and a soft Drink... More
Bar has been around for quite a while. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable about the history of the island due to its three generations of ownership. Make sure to bring something to add to their collection of knick nacks: people have old college ID's memorabilia from their town etc.

My wife and I visit Aruba every year and we always stop by Charlies. Where do I even begin with this place! You can spend hours just looking around at all the things left behind by patrons who have visited the bar. Cornelius is a great bar tender who provides a wealth of knowledge about the area and the island.... More
Cool place to visit. Stop in to drink a soda or beer. Lots of stuff hanging from the ceiling and walls collected since the 1940's. Very expensive food so I didn't try it but there is no place nearby to eat, it's the bar area of town. Very interesting part of town. Very, very interesting part of town. Go on... More
Everyone advised us to try this... Should have gone with my gut feeling and ate with the locals... The tables are all reserved for Tourists... Small beers $3.50 everywhere else $2.00 ...each bowl of seafood chowder $28.00 all US dollars... Don't be fooled by florian dollars... Avoid at all costs!
