We spent some time comparing different sail and snorkel tours, totally being put off by the huge crowds we saw getting on some of the boats. We settled on the Octopus due to reviews and the smaller amount of people. Well we were not disappointed We did an afternoon sail and snorkel on our last day in Aruba and had... More

This year we for our 20th trip to Aruba we were honored by the Aruba Tourism bureau for being a "Distinguished visitors". They asked for the top 5 reasons we return to Aruba and #1 on that list is sailing on the Octopus. Our first full day on the island always includes the afternoon snorkeling trip with Captain Jethro, First... More

We had an excellent time with our half day brunch and champagne snorkling experience. Jethro and his crew were attentive and very friendly, making sure that we were well taken care of. They are knowledgeable with what they are doing and the route they took was nice. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who likes to avoid large... More

For anyone looking for a sailing experience with only 20-24 people, definitely check out the Octopus. Captain Jethro and staff do a fabulous job of providing a great time while sailing with them. You won't be disappointed on your choice to go with the Octopus. Food, Drinks, Snorkling and Sun .... PERFECT! Ron and Lisa Roberts

Took a sunset cruise with Captain Jethro and his crew, Young Jay is a cracking Barman (makes a tremendous cocktail for 13 year old!) and the Octopus is a lovely way to cruise the coast and see the sunset. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys and if I go back to Aruba I would certainly look to chartering... More

My husband and I booked a private, all day charter for our anniversary with the Blue Octopus and it was the best part of our trip. Jethro, the captain, and his first mate Jeff, are great local guides, super friendly, relaxed, warm and inviting. If you are looking for a not-so touristy activity, this is it. The boat is bare-bones... More

This company was a great choice! Smaller number of participants (our trip had 15) made the whole experience more intimate. Price included homemade breakfast breads & mimosas then a delicious, fresh lunch with open bar. You don't even have to actually go snorkeling to enjoy yourself! The sailing and the crew make the trip enjoyable either way. Most of the... More

We've been doing the Octopus tours for 20+ years. It's all sail. No motors. Limit is 22 people. Alcohol, water and pop provided, along with sand which sand fruit (AM & afternoon snorkel cruises). Capt. Jethro, first mate Jeff, do a great job helping everyone, and being informative. Snorkeling is good. Music is low key so people can talk to... More

Sailing in Aruba is beautiful, and the Octopus crew (Jethro, Jeff & JJ) make this snorkeling trip consistently awesome. They keep the group small so it's always comfortable and friendly. They take extra time for those that have never snorkeled before. I've been going out on Jethro's boat since I was a kid with my family on vacation, and now... More
