We did the afternoon snorkeling trip. Jethro is the owner and works hard to make sure everyone has a great time! Sailing to the snorkeling location, a lovely snorkeling site, some cheese sandwiches, fruit and drinks, with a return sale to the pickup point in front of the Playa Linda Beach Resort.

We had a good time on the catamaran. We felt that it was a more authentic experience than getting shoved onto a speedboat with 50 other people. They provided snorkeling gear and good food. Bring a towel and sunblock and enjoy!

We have been vacationing in Aruba for many years and each time we go, we spend and afternoon on the Octopus! Our kids love it as much as we do. Everyone looks forward to a fun time snorkeling and then a relaxing sail as you dine on the best Gouda cheese sandwich you will ever eat! See you next year... More

This was a great day-trip (1:30-4 p.m.). Great snorkeling (even for a non-swimmer like me!) They give a very simple lunch (quite good cheese sandwiches and fruit) and have an open bar (of fairly crappy liquor and no beer, but….). The sailing itself was worth it. And, only $65 a couple; $20 per kid. Snorkel equipment included. Captain Jethro and... More

We read the reviews and booked the brunch sail. Waters were a little choppy but not too bad. It was our first time to sail and me, hubby, and 16 year old son had a BLAST!! The snorkel spots are wonderful and while Jethro and Jeff can't take credit for the beautiful beaches of Aruba they can definitely take credit... More

Even though our trip was a couple years ago, I wanted to echo what many others seem to continue saying. We had a great morning with Capt Jethro and his first mate. There were only about 10 of us on our Morning Half Day sail. We enjoyed the picnic style lunch that was served after we snorkeled while we sailed... More

We have been on this boat for 24 years and it is always the best part of our vacation! We go out several times over our 1-2 week trip with our now grown children and are never disappointed! Jethro, Jeff and his son JJ always make the trip special for us! Wonderful people who make the trip enjoyable for all!

We did the afternoon snorkeling trip. It was perfect. Smaller boat that host approx. 20 people, which is much better than the larger vessels that are crowded. The captain and crew were very attentive to our needs. They served drinks and lunch while sailing to good music. Snorkeling spot was excellent with lots to see.

You cannot go wrong with choosing Captain Jethro, a lifelong Aruban native and a wealth of information about the island and his Cat, Octopus, for a snorkeling adventure. As we did three years ago, we chose the Champagne Morning Cruise. We meet at 8:30am in back of the Holiday Inn in Palm Beach and take a dinghy out to the... More

Octopus Sailing Charters was a very relaxing time! Our group of seven did the morning trip that was about three hours. We had to be at the beach at 8:30am. Captain Jethro' s crew picks you up and takes you to the sailboat. They give you breakfast which consists of mimosas and your choice Aruban raisin bread, banana bread, and... More
