We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise on the Octopus. The Aruba Aribi's were delicious as were the appetizers served. Jethro and crew were welcoming, friendly and the cruise was memorable. Would definitely go again.

This was my first experience snorkeling, so I wanted to make sure we were on a smaller boat with a good crew. Jethro and his crew were attentive, had the right equipment and tasty cheese snacks and drinks. The sail boat has no motor and given the trade winds of aruba, skill is truly needed. I'd use them again in... More

I just wanna say that this was the worst Catamaran trip I have ever had in Aruba, they advertise it as a small group and intimate... because the Catamaran is so small, dirty, they don't even have a motor, so they refused to take us to the antilla wreckship, which is the highlight of any catamaran trip, coming all the... We booked a sunset sail with Octopus and it did not disappoint. Very casual and relaxing trip, a bit of chatting and a couple of drinks and mostly enjoying the waters and sights. Best part there were only 12 total on the boat though it could handle more. Really enjoyed the time.

When you think of Caribbean sailing, you probably think of pirates or Jimmy Buffet types. Jethro may be more of the latter, but his steadfast approach to fun and history may make him some of the former too. It was a great day on the water. What the boat lacks in modern fashions, it more than replaces with charm and... More

We had a great snorkel trip w/ Jethro & Jeff. After reading reviews and talking to locals, this was a great decision. We did the afternoon snorkel on Thanksgiving Day. It was my 8 year old son, my wife & I. The others on the trip ranged in age from 2-70 (including two pregnant women). Both guys were very friendly... More

Most relaxing sunset cruises. The captain Jethro does a great job, he highlights the sights as you cruise up and down palm beach and with the help of his mate Jeff keeps your drinks full. Cruise is only 2 hours so it doesn't wreck your beach time, no rope swings, no loud music, smooth sailing no need to worry about... More

My friend and I started with the champagne brunch tour which included snorkeling at 2 sites. A bit scary at the first site for snorkeling (water was a bIt choppy) and the tour guides don't get in with you but they will review snorkeling for you before you get in with good tips. As a novice got over my fears... More

We did both the champagne brunch for snorkeling and the sunset cruise and both were very enjoyable! The snorkeling adventure was great, especially for our beginner level. And the sunset cruise was spectacular!

We had gone on a snorkeling excursion with Captain Jethro/Crew back in 2006. When we had to return to Aruba for a September 2014 Conference at The Marriott, we made sure this was the only excursion we booked. You will never see the true beauty of Aruba with groups like DePalm or Red Sail. They are all about volume and... More
