We have been on this boat for 24 years and it is always the best part of our vacation! We go out several times over our 1-2 week trip with our now grown children and are never disappointed! Jethro, Jeff and his son JJ always make the trip special for us! Wonderful people who make the trip enjoyable for all!

We did the afternoon snorkeling trip. It was perfect. Smaller boat that host approx. 20 people, which is much better than the larger vessels that are crowded. The captain and crew were very attentive to our needs. They served drinks and lunch while sailing to good music. Snorkeling spot was excellent with lots to see.

You cannot go wrong with choosing Captain Jethro, a lifelong Aruban native and a wealth of information about the island and his Cat, Octopus, for a snorkeling adventure. As we did three years ago, we chose the Champagne Morning Cruise. We meet at 8:30am in back of the Holiday Inn in Palm Beach and take a dinghy out to the... More

Octopus Sailing Charters was a very relaxing time! Our group of seven did the morning trip that was about three hours. We had to be at the beach at 8:30am. Captain Jethro' s crew picks you up and takes you to the sailboat. They give you breakfast which consists of mimosas and your choice Aruban raisin bread, banana bread, and... More

My girlfriend and I took a snorkeling trip with Octopus this past week. We had considered a few other businesses, including the Jolly Pirates, but we were very glad that we chose Octopus over the others. Be sure to arrive promptly, as the Octopus is moored offshore, and the crew carries passengers to it with a small motor boat. The... More

There are lots of Catamarans on the island, but the Octopus and Jetro have one of the most enjoyable. My mom wanted to go snorkling and for a sail, we went out in the morning, that boat has no motor, so no fumes or exhaust and a pleasant ride. Drinks and snack available throughout. Snorkling was nice and at your... More

We booked a full day sail for 20 to continue the weeklong celebration of my wife's 50th birthday in Aruba. We had the boat to ourselves from 9 AM to 3PM. We had mimosas and baked breads and muffins for breakfast. Unlimited mixed drinks throughout the sail and fresh sandwiches with an assortment of meats and Gouda cheese, homemade salad,... More

Last time we came to Aruba, my parents and my husband and I did the DePalm day snorkel trip and it was a blast! This time, I was eleven weeks pregnant and unsure if I could stomach a day out on the ocean. I googled shorter day trips and Octopus came up with great reviews. I emailed Jethro, the owner,... More

The boat used in the Octopus tours of the Antilles shipwreck and Boca Catalina reef has no shade and no engine. When the boat stops for the lunch break, a shade is put up that covers only the captain, not any of the guests. If you have difficulty being in the sun with no break for 4-5 hours, you may... More

Booked the morning brunch tour based on Tripadvisor. Make sure you find the hut/stand labelled Octopus Tours on the beach and wait there instead of running up to the pier (you get a warmer reception). If you are in your 20s looking for a booze cruise with lots of entertainment, this is not the right tour for you. My husband... More
