There is only a small group of people on board, very calm waters.First..We turn off the motor and there is no loud music, relaxing in the sun or shade, sailing along the beautiful coastline of Aruba, with a nice cold drink. Sounds good? There is more;We stop at Aruba's most beautiful lagoon; Catalina bay, this is where the Million Dollar homes are and the water is crystal clear, we can see the colorful fish right off the boat. The crowds, at this time of the day, are gone! At this tropical lagoon there is a opportunity to go snorkeling (we provide you with everything you need, every thing is clean and new) When everyone is back on board we serve some watermelon, more drinks, and our award winning Dutch Sandwiches & Dutch Grilled-Cheese Sandwiches (note; this is not a dinner sail )Let us know if you have food allergies. The best part..Now we are lounging there in this beautiful lagoon and,... the Sun set starts to paint the lagoon in Sunset colors....... So very nice to be there at this time of the day..Then..After some cocktails we set sail for our "Romantic Sunset sail" on the way back. Cocktails served with the famous grilled cheese-sandwiches. After the sunsets we are back at the dock by the Marriott, perfectly relaxed .. « less

I was on the Black Pearl snorkeling/sunset cruise on 9/16. Loved it and went again on 9/18. This is a MUST for anyone going to Aruba. Just book ahead as it is very popular. 20-24 people. This is not a booze cruise. It is a relaxing sail, two snorkeling stops, great rum punch, awesome tomato/Dutch cheese sandwiches followed up with... More

Joanne, Matt, and Leo made our snorkel sail a memorable experience! After a quick check-in and brief orientation, we were off sailing in the beautiful waters. We stopped at two snorkel locations, and admired the sunset from our seats while drinking many glasses of Pearl Punch and stuffing ourselves with cheese sandwiches. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip... More

This is an awesome, peaceful sail! The snorkeling was excellent. The sandwiches they served were delicious and saved us from eating out ;) I gave this a 5, no negatives!

Back on the Black Pearl for another delightful trip. Joann and the crew were excellent hosts and the trip was as relaxing as could be. If you like the party atmosphere, loud music and screaming drunks, this is not the trip for you. If you want a nice experience for memories of your trip, this is the place.

Thanks again to Joanne and her crew. The snacks, refreshments and the snorkeling was excellent. Great idea to have loungers instead of conventional seats! Ice bucket challenge completed in Aruba!! Thanks again for picking me up!!

This was the most relaxing and enjoyable afternoon, sailing alone was so much fun , but what was included made the day. Safe boat ,easy manuvering. With exciting, enthusiastic crew was great. Even non snorkelers were given lots of help. Plenty of drinks and delicius sandwiches and snacks of watermelon were excellent. Save room for grilled cheese, worth the wait.... More

What an awesome way to spend our last evening in Aruba. Albert and Joann were gracious hosts and Joann knew everyone by name which added a personal touch. We felt very welcome and comfortable. It was a relaxing and enjoyable time kicking back on the bed-like seats while taking in the Caribbean breeze. Let's not forget the delicious cheese sandwiches,... More

We did a repeat of last year and took this cruise again. I love this sail for the sunset, the crew, the sandwiches, and the house specials! The snorkeling is great too. We saw a lot more fish this time around, some starfish and some neat corals. Joanne keeps the drinks flowing and everyone is super friendly and helpful. The... More

My wife and I have been to Aruba 4 times now, and this was the first time we did a sailing & snorkeling cruise. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to try the Black Pearl sunset cruise. The ship was a good size - not too big and not too small (we had around 24 customers including ourselves... Overall a great experience! Albert and Joanne were accommodating and cordial. Although Aruba is not known for superior snorkeling the 2 locations they sailed to did provide the opportunity to see different kinds of sea life and coral. The vessel itself was wonderfully comfortable. Being able to stretch out on a comfortable lounge was something you don't get on most... More
