We went late afternoon and think tide was coming in. Current was a little strong with some waves but still able to snorkel. We started in Arashi and beach hopped down to Boca Catalina and Malmok and snorkeled at each place then hopped on bus back to hotel. Would recommend doing it early am instead of late afternoon due to... More

Aruba has such a variety of beach experiences. Arashi has soft, white sand great for swimming and sun bathing. There were huts available for shelter, which was nice on hot, sunny days. There was great snorkeling near the rock formations just to the left of Arashi beach.

As long as you arrive early in the day, say by 9 am, you will be guaranteed a hut for shelter and will be able to enjoy the beach by yourself for a while. It tends to get busy around lunch time. The water is calm and beautiful. Very rarely do you see any water sports of any kind so... More

This was one of my favorite stops we made when we rented a car for the day. The beach was not packed and it was quite. Not many people around the beach. There were a lot of snorkelers in the water because of the boats that take them around, but wasn't to bad. The snorkeling was better than baby beach... More

My husband and I visited this beach while on holiday in Aruba. We got the "arubus" local bus and it stops at the beach. The beach is in a quiet area where there are some villas there, there were no other facilities except for the restaurant at the california lighthouse which is a bit of a walk in the hot... More

Great beach!! Sandy shallow water. Clear water. Nothing to dislike. If you like semi-private without huge hotel crowds, this it it.
