I had a great time up until I met the chair rental guy. He is a rude, rude man. This beach would have gotten 5 stars but the chair rental guy ruined it. We had a hut that we started setting up in and he came and sat his fat rear end down without so much as a "hello, do... More

We love snorkeling here. Beautiful spot, a great experience. A (not so?) hidden gem. What can we say? Please don't overload the place and ruin it's wonderful nature. That's our only concern: government of Aruba, please protect your reefs. Don't forget to bring towels and drinks as there are no facilities here. And be careful when it's windy, because it's... A great beach to relax, bring a cooler with drinks and snacks and just hang out. There are quite a few palapas now but you still have to get there early. The beach area has also bee extended quite a bit! The water is calm and you can walk out pretty far, a far better beach than traveling to baby... More

Beautiful beach and great for snorkeling. Near the shipwreck as well. You can walk to it from the Marriott hotels. It is a bit of a walk but worth the trip. Bicycle or cab too. If you are lucky you will catch the windsurfers along the way. One happy island. No facilites but they are in the process of building... More

This beautiful beach is on the Northern end of the island- not a far drive if you have a rental car but off the beaten path of the tourists staying in the high and mid rise hotels that don't have cars. The kids had a blast playing in the waves - and you won't find these waves if you are... More

We snorkeled at lots of spots in Aruba and at the advice of Trip Advisors of Aruba we decided to visit this spot. We weren't disappointed. There isn't much tide to worry about and you only have to be an average swimmer. You can venture out quite a ways by just wading in the water. The really neat thing about... More

This is one of the best beaches on the island. Crystal clear water. Pelicans diving. loads of fish, Snorkeling areas. Great diversion from the resort beaches.

We knew there were no facilities prior to our visit so we planned a short visit accordingly. There is construction in the area and we were told they are being restrooms, a restaurant/snack bar etc. I think this will be a huge improvement. Right now there are no chairs or umbrellas for rent etc so pack accordingly. Nice enough beach,... More

This is one of the few beaches that lets you access the water from the sand. The water will be clear. The nearby reef is a quarter mile out but quite dead.

My fiancé and I lived Aruba from 2012 - 2014 and one of our favorite things to do was to drive to Arashi, run up the lighthouse and back, then go for a swim and snorkel! Calm waters, soft sand, and the snorkeling is wonderful! Get there early if you want a plapa!
