Almost as nice as Eagle Beach with less people.

Calm waves and nice sand. Great place to wade in the water as it doesn't get too deep too quick. We went out snorkeling quite far and didn't see much at all.

Some of the best views on the whole island are right here. We came up here to Arashi looking for a geocache and wound up spending at least an hour just walking around and taking pictures. This is the stuff you see on postcards. Just amazing.

The water is clear and full of fishes. The only down thing is that to enter in the water you have to pass through some stones or gravel. If you are staying at Eagle or Palm Beach, it pretty the same thing...

We spent a few hours here in the heat of the day. We rented a couple of chairs and found some shade under a palm tree. The swimming here was really nice, was a little rocky, but waters fairly calm. Windy of course! Looked like they were building something there, possibly adding restrooms/snack bar. I think there were porta-potties though... More

Drove up to Arashi beach last visit and went snorkeling off the beach. Lots of fish and not very crowded with people. Great quick trip from the Marriott Ocean Club.

We have snorkeled here twice. There were no bathroom facilities, but looks like they are in the process of building one. A local ice cream truck comes by and sells ice cream and drinks. From cruise port get on the city bus $2.30 each it runs about every 30 minutes to an hour. We took a taxi there at $12... More

Arashi is a great north of the most popular beaches. The sand is coarser / has more shells/rocks than the powdery white sand of the Bahamas, but we'll trade that for the lighter crowds and juts as beautiful turquoise waters. The temperatures on Aruba during our stay were consistently in the mid-80s, so the wind was actually a really nice... More

I stayed at the Radisson on a Palm beach, but rented a car and visited several beaches during my week stay. I ended up going to Arashi beach twice. We were there during the "camp week" - when locals camp out on the beaches and supposedly this is the most crowded the beaches will get. Well, I had no problem... More

My favorite spot on the island, the water is clear and the snorkeling is quick swim from the shore. Many little sub-beaches north of Arashi are less crowded, but nowhere north of Arashi has any shade, so putting up with a few more people is worth it.
