We spent the day at Arashi Beach and enjoyed a fabulous day! Get there early so you can snag one of the few thatched roof palapas that provide the much needed shade. The beach chairs are worth the $$ to rent. The snorkeling there was the best the we found in Aruba. You didn't have to swim out far to... More

This was just a fabulous place to snorkel, we arrived via the bus line which is acceptable from most of the hotels. There is limited shade here, but most people were willing to share the trees or limited number of thatched stands. There is an abundance of fish, eels, octopi, sea snakes, coral, feather dusters, star fish, and crabs. When... More

We took a cab from the high rise hotel area up to Arashi Beach, but it is right on the bus line...so we took the bus back in the afternoon. The beach is beautiful but I would recommend renting a chair and getting a space under or near one of the palapas. There is some great snorkeling between the lighthouse... More

Quite the experience to be swimming in the ocean and looking at cactus at the same time! There are chairs and umbrellas to rent if shade is not available. An ice cream truck came by during our visit! No restroom facilities though.

Arashi Beach is a small stretch of sand near the northwest tip of the island, on the way to the lighthouse. In the last couple of years there have been improvements there, including a nice parking lot, stone wall, some palapas huts and so forth. Yesterday there was a truck selling ice-cream which made for a nice treat. Get here... More

Clear visibility. A great snorkeling dive to see lots of fish. Not deep at all. We got to this site via a catamaran of De Palm Tours.

The water here is the MOST clear of any beach I've been to in Aruba. You can see the little fish swimming around you. The beach is secluded and cabanas fill quickly. You should arrive early for a shady spot or go late to watch the sunset. The water is pretty chilly here and very refreshing after a day in... More

Arashi is vast. This area is better for swimming, and there are a lot of palapas, and families, at the official park. For best snorkeling, travel toward the lighthouse and enter the water to the right of the paved parking area at the park. There is a lot of parking available on the beach, and there is a covered bench... More

We loved this beach! We had only snorkeled once before and were using low quality hotel rented equipment this place was still amazing. There are lots of rocks for fish and critters to be around. Watch your feet because there were lots of sea urchins! The sand is powder soft. There are little shade huts but they fill up fast.... More

Arashi beach is a small beach with convenient parking and access. It's all about the snorkeling here so don't forget your gear. The coral and fish are abundant- you don't have to swim far. Arashi is definitely the spot for snorkeling but go somewhere else if you're looking to just lounge and tan.
