The history of the lighthouse is ok.

A nice place to visit. Small lighthouse surrounded by local vendors and restaurant. Nothing all that exciting.

Beautiful view from here, and a wonderful Italian restaurant. We would have loved to have time to eat there. The tables are on a balcony overlooking the water.

We come here for drinks and appetizers to watch the sunset in Aruba. It's a must do. Delightful event when enjoying this beautiful island.

Supposedly going to be rehabbed by Aruba govt. It is barricaded and unfortunately very downtrodden. No history no information. A terrible shame the disrepair it has fallen into.

If you have never been here, you need to go to experience the beautiful sunset and wonderful view of the island. Sit outside on the terrace that is candlelight and very romantic. The food is not the best I have ever had but it is very good.

Just visited last week. What a beautiful place. You cannot go inside but what a view of the island from the front of this rustic neat part of history. Makes a good backdrop for pictures. There is even a truck selling food and a restaurant just in front of the lighthouse. It is a little dusty but well worth a... More

We were taken to the California Lighthouse as a stop on our Jeep tour. This lighthouse was named for the steamship California, which wrecked nearby on September 23, 1891. There was not much to do in the area, other than look at it, take some photos, and maybe buy a drink or snack from some of the street vendors. The... More

The lighthouse is closed because is been remodeling. Its a great view and the other thing is a car which sells "cocada" and coconut water. Try it!

One of the "must see" things in Aruba, the view of the Island from there is good. Also, within a few feet there is a good restaurant for sea food and drinks.
