The lighthouse is located at the tip of the island, great views, but you are able to walk to the top. The entire lighthouse is ropes off. But there is a great restaurant located near the lighthouse that we stopped by for lunch. We took awesome pics from the restaurant, you can see down the coast where all the high... More

My girlfriend and I took the bus to Malmok Beach and then walked to the LIghthouse. Not a bad walk, but long. The views were nice, but the lighthouse is closed to access. Everyone mentioned the restaurant by the lighthouse to visit during sunset. But didn't get the chance to do. Take it or leave it. Still a beautiful island.

The history is interesting behind the building of this lighthouse. There are so many erroneous stories out there but we did get the true version. It's a shame that it is in such disrepair, I hope that the attempts at having it restored are successful.

The old lighthouse is an interesting place. When I visited, it was undergoing renovations. You can not get inside, nor can you climb to the top. So the stop here is no more than a photo opportunity. I have visited many lighthouse's in my travels. Many have nice park grounds. This is just a lighthouse. The tour bus almost parks... More

After being to Aruba a number of times and staying at the the other end of the island we thought that we should take a look at the California Lighthouse. By itself it really isn't much to look at. In fact it looks like its in pretty bad shape. Maybe the power that be in Aruba should do a restoration.... More

Nice tour with beautiful beaches and enjoyed a Balshi Beer with our friends a good excursion provided by Princess Cruises.

The view was very pretty but the food at the restaurant was overpriced and bland. Definitely would not return. Only come for drinks.

Mentioning Aruba conjures up images of sand, beaches, romantic sunsets…. and a lighthouse. Well, this is what I noticed anyways during my week as the California lighthouse popped up on various postcards, mouse pads, jigsaw puzzles, key chains, etc. It was only logical to include a trip here on my island tour. Located roughly at the island’s northern most point,... More

There are not a lot of sites on Aruba and this is one of them. Part of the appeal is actually the ride to the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse itself sits at the North end of the island: you can readily see the difference between the rocky and rugged west side of the island and the tranquil east side. The site... More

Cool lighthouse. Beautiful views. Definitely get a coconut while you're there and if you're brave have them add the coconut rum. Used the restroom in the restaurant that's right there. It looked lovely but not air conditioned and the patio which was scorching hot. Glad we trekked up there.
