The Alhambra is a friendly stand-alone casino; but on this visit, we found the slot machines to be very old, except for the video poker machines. There needs to be more up-to-date slots, and more $.25 instead of so many $1, $5 slots!!!

Too bad that it's so disgustingly smokey. So many US casinos are at least creating non-smoking wings. Many of our friends decided to just not venture out at all. Some tried to dump $$ for an hour or so. And those poor employees who have to breathe that black air. So sorry for you all.

This casino is larger than others we've been to on the island. There was a bingo going on so most machines were open when we arrived but once the bingo was over a lot of them filled up.

I played Blackjack 3 nights on our recent trip to Aruba. I won all 3 nights and the casino wasn't happy. I had 8 dealer changes while playing Blackjack one night. My husband played Craps and they kept giving him a hard time telling him he wasn't throwing the dice right (he is a veteran craps player). We definitely came... More

I have noticed what several others have. The pit staff is bad. I enjoy playing craps, there your lucky if they let you touch the dice. They always comment on the way you throw. While playing Black Jack things were going fine until I started playing $25-$75 all of a sudden there were more people behind the table than were... More

It was small and smokey, but it had a fair variety of games. The dealers were neither overly friendly nor rude. It was the closest casino to out hotel.

This casino is conveniently located across from my timeshare, so I visit frequently. At night it gets crowded and smoky, but I enjoy visiting during the day if I want a break from the sun. I've had great luck there over the years, although not this trip, but my mom hit for $6000 on a $4.50 China Shores slot last... More
