Went fishing on Aug 17 with Anthony and Marcelo (4 hour trip). Once the lines were rigged and in the water, we hit Mahi Mahi in 5 minutes. We ended up with over 30. Since the Mahi Mahi were not real large (2-6 #), Anthony broke out 2 light weight rods and reels (8# test). This made for some fun... More

On our honeymoon, we made sure to get in on some salt water experience, I scheduled a trip months in advance with them to ensure a great choice. Arriving on scene, Capt. Marcelo and mate Anthony were very professional, I too run trips of my own in freshwater and these guys were a class act, running this boat smoothly, and... More

We fished with this charter on Monday 21st July 2014. We had done much research online including TripAdvisor. 5 Chaps got a taxi to the Renaissance Marina where we met the Captain Marcelo and his First Mate Anthony. We had booked a 4 hour morning charter for $400 for up to 6 people. All Tackle bait and soft drinks were... More

In a island so plenty of restaurants like Aruba to find this in a corner of Oranjsteed is really an happy opportunity. The service is perfect and the food is really good. The price is medium to high but quality is really high. I suggest to try in your stay in Aruba if you like fish.

My wife and I charted a boat after hearing about Driftwood charters. We did it in a day, so with short notice they accommodated us with a great boat and killer crew ( thanks Marcell and Anthony, you guys rock! ) we caught some beautiful mahi mahi and were treated like it was our boat. You can't beat that! Next... More

Even with 2/3 of our group succumbing to seasickness and an early return to port, my son managed to score 5 fish. Our crew was fabulous - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful! Definitely would go again given the opportunity!

We asked our sons what they would like to do in Aruba and they said deep sea fishing. After researching, the Driftwood was the one we chose and I am so glad we did. Anthony and Marcelo were awesome. They worked so hard and took care of us. Very personable, just really nice guys. Our oldest caught a 23 lb.... More

We had a great time fishing with on the Driftwood. We were with Marcelo on the Driftwood boat for a full day trip. Went a long time and only caught some barracuda and a small tuna. Fishing was not the greatest, but the guys worked hard trying different things to entice the fish. Only thing that was a little off... More

We had a great time with Anthony and Marcelo last week. Although we were told the fish weren't biting, we ended up catching 12 fish, including a large wahoo and barracuda. We also lost a black tipped shark (right at the boat) and a marlin. Anthony, the first mate, was great and took great care in helping my son land... More

Went out on the 8 am -12 trip on Sunday 7/27/14. Not on Driftwood, as we thought we were. Their other boat is Easy Living (or Living Easy). This was my son and mines first charter fishing trip. It was not until we arrived in Aruba last week that I saw that the Driftwood Restaurant was not open on Sundays,... More
