My wife and i went fishing with Marcelo and doddy on the Driftwood in April 2013. They never stopped preparing and setting up new Riggs, checking bait etc. Great guys. Best captain and mate i have ever experienced on a charter boat. We each caught nice wahoo along with several tuna. Great time! Went to the Driftwood restaurant and had... More

I fished aboard the Driftwood for a half day on April 25/13. The crew was great and the boat was nicely maintained. Marcello,Doddie and the young guy who was an excellent helper made the trip a real Good Time We started slow(thats fishing) and ended up hooking on to two tuna, one barracuda, and a wahoo. We had 3 strikes also... More

The Captain Marcelo knows where to go to catch, but Doddy and RJ were the key to making this the trip of a lifetime. They not only made it full of laughs, but the joy on their faces when we reeled in each fish was as wonderful as the catch itself. They never stopped working and preparing bait and checking... More

I fished with the Driftwood team on Sunday April 28th 2013. Because we had a full 8 hours we were able to make the run north of the island. No real signs of life for a couple of hours when the crew was getting ready to switch the lures to bait. Then an explosion behind the boat and the drag... More

I have fished all over the world, but this was by far the best fishing I've ever done, even better than catching a sailfish last month in Costa Rica. The boat was nicely equipped and so comfortable. The weather was perfect but the crew made the trip. Marcelo and Doddy knew exactly how to catch fish and make it fun... More

Had Marcell and Dody (sp?) as our fishing crew. They were AWESOME! Water was rough, but we still managed to catch tuna and mahi mahi. In addition to the great fun fishing, we dined at Driftwood restaurant that evening & had our fish prepared for us! It was all in all an 1+++ experience!

My wife and I had this trip planned from Christmas of 2012. I had read all of the reviews from this site and was very excited. We arrived at the marina at noon for the 1:00 to 5:00 pm charter. After some quick introductions we were off. Marcelo and Doddy were awesome, they couldn't have been more helpful. This was... More

We read the reviews on this site to help us decide on who to go with, but didn't book until 3-4 days before, and we got the last available spot before we were to fly home. I'd suggest to others to book a week in advance, because this is a popular boat with a crew that strives for customer satisfaction.... More

My family of six went out for our first deep sea excursion ever with Driftwood on March 29. Captain Marcelo and First Mate Doddy were truly a pleasure and very concerned about our young kids ability to handle the boat trip. They kept us close to shore at first and then slowly went out about 4-miles. After about an hour... More

I fished on the Driftwood on Feb 26th. The Driftwood is a great fishing team! These guys have experience, ambition, and are just plain good people. The owner Herbert was very responsive with setting up the charter reservation and answering questions leading up to my trip to Aruba. Captain Marcelo was great getting us on fish and First Mate Doddy... More
