The natural pool is another of the contrived tourist attractions in Aruba. There is really nothing there to see, but it is a journey to get there, and it is a scenic and wild place, so that part is nice. As far as snorkeling and what you can see, you are far better off going to Baby Beach or Arashi... More

We only had the day in Aruba since we were on a cruise. A friend of mine from home had recently transferred to Aruba for work a few months before we arrived so it was nice to have our own "tour guide". We got off the ship and rented a convertible 4x4 jeep, picked up our friend and made our... More

Lets just say the trip there is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! it was definitely worth the trip for us. what we thought was a once in a lifetime opportunity really turned into something i will have to make sure i do it again! the water was really rough when we went, but it was still a great time!... The pool itself is pretty small and it was very windy and rough seas the day we went so I didn't feel comfortable getting in the water there. It did make for some great pictures of Mother Nature's beauty. It is only accessible by 4x4 and perfectly manageable on your own jeep rental without a guide if you have a... More

The Natural Pool is a must-see in Aruba. You can get there with some adventure on a quad if you choose not to do a tour. It's fun to go at least once, but as a local, it's not necessarily on my list to go do again any time soon. It is beautiful, however, and a fun-filled experience to get... More

It's way out on the east side of the island so we took a 4-wheeler expedition which I highly recommend. When we got there it's a small hike down from where you park. Lots of people but oh so cool. Super slippery on the rocks though and bring goggles, there's fish galore in the pool.

Keep in mind - to get to this place you have to drive through a lot of rocky roads and on our first attempt our Jeep got stuck in sand dune. We had to call towing service. We tried again next day. After driving for an hour through rocky hills we got to this place. We wanted to get into... More

Hard to come but was really nice My family of five hiked to the Natural Pool and had arranged for a guided hike at Arikok National Park. The guided hike with the ranger is free but must be reserved the day before by calling the park. The ranger gave us the option of trails and we decided for the more... More

Go. You may want to get the guided tour. IF (AND ONLY IF) you are capable and comfortable driving a 4x4 off-road, you can rent a Jeep or similar from the local rent-a-car and try your luck. We took 2 Jeep Wranglers out there and had no issues, but it's a bit of a bumpy ride to get there. It... More
