On the way to Shirley's heights we made a stop to another viewing point. The cost was $45 per person plus $8 entrance fee per person. Once you pulled up you can see MANY vans parked. Though the scenery was pretty and the band enjoyable I got the feeling of it being overwhelmingly crowded. I preferred the first stop more.... More

Yes it was pretty, but boring. The steel band was ok. There were not enough seats, so no one moved. The food was the best on the island but pricey.

What a treat it was to go up to Shirley Heights for some amazing views of Antigua from "above." The sunset is everything you'd want it it be. We didn't eat, but the food looked delicious, the drinks were cheap, the bands were excellent, and the evening was so worth the $8.00 each that it cost us to enter. We... More

I wish there was a Shirley heights near my house - a Sunday afternoon to watch a sunset - dance under the stars to Steele bands and smell fantastic BBQ food cooking... Great place to go and chill out relax and dance to some reggae

Wow what views up here and the reggae band was great but the steel pan was top notch! Wish the reggae band would just stick to reggae and not the top 40s really hate when they do that. The grounds are really uneven so no heels not even wedges either as there are so many holes bumps etc that u... More

Great views, food, and party. It's a tourist activity but we had so much fun! The views at sunset were beautiful and the music and bands were very entertaining. It was worth the cab fare to get there.

We spend Sunday afternoon and evening at Shirley Heights, watching sunset, listening to the local drummers, dancing and having a good time. The views over the harbours are great, but make sure to get there before 6pm otherwise you will miss the sunset! The entry fee is 8 usd per person, there is a BBQ going on with burgers and... More

So what if its a bit commercial now, go visit Shirley Heights and let yourself enjoy something instead of moaning, it was cheap as chips so what do people expect? The views are spectacular, the steel band and dancers were smiling the whole time and the band had everyone dancing. A great experience before you even begin with the history... More

Pretty views of the harbor below, but not really worth the time and expense to get up there, unless you're really into steel bands and feel like dancing along. Average cab fare is about $20 from the east side of the island; entry is $8/person; dinner about $10/person, although the grilled chicken and other fare was very good, it's outdoor... More

Loved the atmosphere of this party spot. Everything about it was a lot of fun and exceeded expectations. The music was full of energy and got everyone dancing and laughing and having a blast. The view was amazing and I would highly recommend this as a place to go :)
