Worth the Trip

The ferry might surprise you with how small it is at about 50 passengers capacity, which means if the sea is choppy, it might not be ideal for those who get sea sick! But the... read more

There are some really mixed reviews on T.A. regarding the day tours to Barbuda with Barbuda express. Here's my take: Ferry ride is admittedly long and moderately rough. The ferry is not all that comfortable but if you're accustomed to smaller craft in deep water it's really not that bad. I thought the island tour was great. Two Foot Bay... More

Best of both worlds for beach and nature lovers. Even if you don't normall like birdwatching, you would be missing out by not going along to the frigate nesting area and just viewing these birds in their natural habitat. Once you've seen the colony there's plenty of time to relax on one of the best beaches in the world whilst... More

The ferry might surprise you with how small it is at about 50 passengers capacity, which means if the sea is choppy, it might not be ideal for those who get sea sick! But the crew are friendly, drinks and snacks are available on board at reasonable prices, and the sailing times allow about the right amount of time to... More

A comprehensive tour of Barbuda by knowledgeable people. Time at a beach is a selling point, but for someone like me this is a big turnoff. The climate and conditions for middle of the day beachgoing is injurious to health. (skin cancer)

This was a fair tour with a long ferry ride to and from Barbuda. The cave was interesting and the frigate bird sanctuary was the best part of the trip. Be sure to bring sunscreen as there is no shade on this island. The beaches were beautiful however they were no better than the beaches on in Antigua. To us... More

The Barbuda Express Daytour is a cooperative effort between The Barbuda Express Ferry Service and John’s Taxi Service of Barbuda. You arrive at 8;30 AM to join in on the madness at the dock. The little Wave Piercing ferry is packed to the gills with passengers and what little space that remains is stuffed with cargo headed to Barbuda. It... More

Having lived in Antigua on and off for fifteen years, I can assure you with such confidence that a trip on the Barbuda Express is well worth your time! It departs year round to the lovely island of Barbuda where you explore caves, eat lobster on the beach, and swim on beaches with no one else around. A trip to... More

I loved the whole experience there and back. Beautiful ocean and we spotted some whales. Friendly staff and reasonable rates to get back and forth to Barbuda from Antigua.

Faithfull catamaran, not hugely comfortable in rough seas but better than most catamarans. The excitment keeps you awake on the way there...and you sleep on the way back
