Having enjoyed Star Clipper Cruises in the past I have been bitterly disappointed with their offhand and careless attitude to cruise booking. Booked for Souther Cyclades in November 12. Cancelled in Feb 13 "its going into dry dock that week...! Really ? can see where but do know that cruise was not fully subscribed. Took ages and threats to get... More

It isn't. It's a (small) cruise ship that visits the island. You can't tour it, visit it, or even see it other than when it's docked (and even then only at a distance). I'm sure it's lovely, but it's nothing to do with St Johns or Antigua. I'd love to be able to move this to the right place, but... More

I was lucky enough to spend 5 nights on the Star Clipper at the beginning of March. It truly is an amazing ship. Everything about it is so special, the ship and decks are stunning, very well maintained and looked after. Watching the sails go up is a fantastic experience. The on board bar and restaurant is great, excellent food.... More

I spent 5 nights on board this ship with a group of friends, sailing from St Maarten to Antigua and stopped in Nevis, Dominica, Iles de Santes and Guadeloupe. Everything about this trip was amazing! The cabins are spacious considering the size of the ship, the staff are incredibly friendly and as I was a nervous sailor did everything to... More

My husband and I did the Caribbean week that departs from St. Maarten and visits Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts, St. Bart's. It was a fabulous experience to be on this ship with only 150 passengers, almost always sailing instead of motoring, just as the brochures had said! We visited beautiful spots that we would never have seen... More

My husband and I have been sailing on Lake Erie for thirty five years. We decided to sail on the Star Clipper this past February, instead of a bareboat sail charter in the BVI's (which we've done numerous times over the years). Our week's sail took us from St. Maarten to Nevis, Dominica, Iles des Saintes, Guadaloupe, Antigua, and St.... More

The Royal Clipper is the largest of Star Clippers' sailing ships, in fact, the largest full-masted sailing shop in the world! We were lucky enough to get on board (with 200 other passengers) for a week cruising islands from Barbados southward. It was a "wow" experience-a beautifully-appointed small ship, great service, snorkeling and beach opportunities galore, and fun land excursion... More

Just did a week on The Star Clipper in the Caribbean, the perfect way to sail around those gorgeous islands. Forget those giant floating hotels, especially in the Caribbean. If you want the feeling of being on a private sailboat, The Star Clipper and it's sister ship, The Royal Clipper, provide a fabulous, classy and yet casual approach. The food... More
