We stopped here for the day off our cruise and we decided to go all the way to the left of the beach where there was nobody all morning. It was a very peaceful beach with calm water, perfect for little kids. We would definitely be back here!

It can be overwhelming trying to find a great beach to spend the day, especially if you are on a cruise ship and only get one chance. We ended up in Dickenson after we decided to share a taxi cab with some fellow cruisers. It was a hard decision because Antiqua has so many beach options. Dickenson is very close... More

Nice pleasant beachfront and the view is great. The 'hawkers' only ask once and then leave you be. Busy, but not imposing.

Visited this beach as part of an organised trip whilst on a cruise holiday . The beach has glorious soft white sand and fantastic turquoise blue water . Sunbeds and parasols are available for hire as are jet skis . The beach was life guard protected and also had toilets present . Snacks and drinks available from the beach bar... More

The soft, powdery sand beach at Dickensen Bay is flanked by unbelievable greenish-blue seas that merge with an unobstructed horizon of azure blue skies. When you first walk onto the beach and see the ocean you are just awestruck by the colors. The bay is protected by protruding land masses on either end. This beach, on the northwest side of Antigua, is... More

The best beach in Antigua if you have active children in our opinion. We would recommend you stay in a hotel near it, and maybe try one of the catamaran day trips around the island - very worthwhile! There are beach vendors but they're not too problematic.

Each time we go to Antigua we head to a different beach. Dickinson is a short taxi ride from the center of town and the drivers will come back to get you.( We've been there twice already.) Share a taxi with someone to cut costs. The water is the beautiful azure blue and there are water sports if you are... More

My wife and I took an excursion to Dickenson Bay because we heard the beach there was super. It was! We had a peaceful and relaxed day of just sunning and swimming in the gentle surf. The sand was clean and white, and the water was clear and unmarred by pollutants. The gentle breezes ruffled our rental umbrella ocassionally; but... More

Only had a very short morning visit - but well worth the trip. Lovely clean white sand and warm clear water. Lifeguards on hand but water safe for swimming. Jet skis available. Very friendly locals. drinks a bit pricey.
