I stayed at halcyon cove Rex resorts and thoroughly enjoyed my winter sunshine!! Like previous reviews, you don't get too many sellers on the beach and they won't hassle you if you say no! Only one I had a problem with was the "beach doctor" who goes around with fresh aloe Vera, needless to say I was covered head to... More

This is a beautiful soft, white, sandy beach perfect for enjoying the clear water, and nearly endless, so great for a leisurely stroll! It is a short taxi ride from the cruise port. Lounge chairs are available for rent, although we didn't use this service. A bar is available for drinks, as well as, bathroom facilities. We visited in December... More

The fine white sandy public beach at Dickenson Bay has a strong vivid Caribbean vibe. The mile or so long beach has several resorts along it's length and the public beach is sandwiched in between several resorts with the larger Sandals Resort to the left and Halcyon Cove Rex Resort to the right. The blue-green tourquoise aqua marine waters are... More

Should I have not visited better beaches at Barbados and Isla Margarita, this would be five stars. What makes the slight difference is that the sea here is too calm. I’d like to see a bit more waves to body surf on. More serious handicap was that I did not hear any steel drumming. Let’s say that this is a... More

This is everybody's picture postcard Carribean beach. The colours are stunning and there is still a long stretch of undeveloped shore to stoll on - just ideal!

Stopped by to check out the bay one day during our 10 days on the island. Waves were pretty strong and we really didn't see and decent beach area except near Sandals. The beach areas did not look like anything in the photos. Everywhere else people were crammed into small patches of sand near the walkway. Not my type of... More
