We took this excursion from our cruise line, Carnival. The excursion was fantastic, a short bus ride to seaton's villiage, you get dropped off, get a briefing from the locals on how to handle your experience with the stingrays, then you get onto a short boat ride out to the sand bar. There is a floating dock out there, so... More

Ok, i was a little apprehensive about going on this as i had swam with stingrays in the past in an enclosure. I really wanted the "real feel" and i had my husband and daughter who is 4 come along. All i can say is WOW, you get to the stingray city, you jump in a boat, they give you... More

I had read all of the hype & was so excited for this excursion. We booked through Carnival. We had some challenges because my 10 year old son was afraid & got suctioned by a sting ray. He was nervous and moved while trying to feed them. I then carried him back, got too close & touched the coral which... More

We went to Stingray City during our stay on Antigua, and I can honestly say it's one of the very best holiday attractions we've ever done. Staying at the Rex Halcyon Cove, we had to get a taxi (organised by Duane, the tour rep) to the base. Once settled, we had a quite quick, but also thorough, briefing about the... More

My girlfriend and I went to Antigua for a short getaway, and our number one priority was to visit the stingrays at stingray city. The experience was even better than we had hoped! We were picked up at the beach near our hotel and comfortably transported to stingray city's offshore facility, a platform about a half-mile off the coast. We... More

I was not sure about this experience as Sting rays are not a species I know much about. However the crew that works there made this excursion easy. Everyone was friendly and patient as they are used to people that may be uncomfortable but very quickly you become at ease. These gentle giants may appear intimidating but your quickly in... More

As with many people, we had reservations about this experience ...from the thought of seeing sting rays in captivity to the thought of swimming with them. All I can say, is those reservations were totally unfounded. 1) they are not in captivity - they choose to come and swim with people (OK, they know they get fed). The staff knew... More

I did this as an excursion on my first cruise and to be honest I was terrified at first. However, I am so glad that I went through with this and had this experience. The staff is uber friendly and make you comfortable with the creatures. However, I would advise against purchasing shirts from the vendors back on shore because... More

Great experience with the family and for all there. The guides are wonderful and very helpful with children and adults alike. A worthwhile trip and great to be on the water!
