My daughters & I stopped off at Stingray City last summer as part of a day trip around the island by speedboat. I have to say it was one of the highlights of our holiday. We took our own snorkelling gear, but you didn't have to as this was supplied on our boat. We had a fab time snorkelling amongst... More

Having been to Antigua many times we decided to try Stingray City this year. We were picked up on the beach at Long Bay ,then a ten minute or so boat ride to the Stingrays The stingray site is in the ocean and they are free to come and go as they please, they are not captive. You can stand in... More

We had this trip as part of a package from The Antigua Rainforest Company (pick up from hotel, Zip lining over the rain forest in the morning, excellent lunch and then visit to Stingray City). Swimming with the Stingrays is an experience not to be missed if you are visiting Antigua. You get briefed on safety and how to handle... More

Unlike most of the other contact we had with other Antiguans, everyone here was very friendly. After taking a short boat ride, you arrive to your meeting place with the stingrays. I took my 7 and 9 year olds, and they loved it. They were a little scared of being "stung", but the staff showed them the stinger and reassured... More

We drove to Stingray City without booking and were lucky there was a trip just about to leave. It's probably worth checking the times and or booking before just turning up, especially out of peak season. So an exhilarating ride by flat bottomed speed boat out across the shallow bay and between the islands to the reef where the rays... More

The staff was very engaging and the stingrays were so cool! And we saw a barracuda which was neat, as well as other sea life. Definitely bring a water camera or two!

We loved swimming with the rays! A little apprehensive at first, but the staff were patient and friendly and gave us confidence. We enjoyed the snorkelling and saw amazing fish and wildlife. We were amazed at how many stingrays were around and they were very friendly and used to humans. We didn't want to leave...a must do trip!

Great morning. I was apprehensive in doing this with young children but needn't have worried. We were picked up by boat hear our hotel and taken to the site of sting ray city. As the boat arrived you could see the rays begin to swim over to the cordoned off area. The rays are free to swim in and out... More

I was surprised to learn that the Sting Rays were wild free roaming Sting Rays and not captive. They were just used to interacting with humans at the reef area and being fed. The Rays loved to willfully rub themselves against humans. I was mesmerized.

Almost the end of our holiday and we picked a rainy day to go swimming with stingrays. It is a beautiful experience. Everything is well run; a quick brief then fast boat out to the rays. The staff are great and encouraged everyone, including one of my timid sons. We had a storm mid session to add to the drama. Would... More
