The colors of Shoal Bay are amazing! A great place for a morning jog as the beach is expansive and the breeze keeps on blowing. Watching the color of the water is one of the best ways to spend your day and clear your mind.

We explored the island back and fourth several times during our 1 week stay. This is by far the best beach in the whole island with the turquoise color and snorkeling from the shore

Don't hesitate. Take the ferry to Anguilla (20 mins from Marigot) at a cost of about $86 per couple round trip including ferry fees and departure taxes on both St. Martin and Anguilla. Get a cab (about $50 rt) to Shoal Bay - about a 20 minute ride, and you'll step onto a beach that cannot be rivaled by many.... More

I have been to most Caribbean islands, ranging from Curacao to Grand Cayman and I have yet to find such a beautiful beach as Shoal Bay East in Anguilla. The powder sand, water colour, light breeze, very light waves, and, most importantly, the lack of crowds makes this for me the best beach in the Caribbean, if not the world.... More

We spent the day at Shoal Bay, a day trip via charter boat from SXM. I will definitely be back!! The sand, the water, the tranquility, the snorkeling and the fabulous lunch at the beach restaurant... WOW! So peaceful and relaxing... Highly recommend!

We visited this tiny island on one of our stops during our honeymoon cruise. The white sands and the clear blue sea were a stark contrast to anything that we had ever seen before - and that left us in complete and utter awe. I don't think I've ever been to such a beautiful area that didn't seem to be... More

This is simply one of the most incredible beaches you can go to. Pristine, gorgeous. Natives are super friendly, very laid back.

I walk Shoal Bay every morning, rain or shine -- because I can -- and for the simple reason that nothing compares in beauty, serenity and psychological wellbeing. Early morning, sunrise, -- upper Shoal Bay @ westward Sandy Point is bombarded with sunbeams, Sun Rays from the Devine in abundance with holy energy (amid full spectrum, dancing watercolors and Caribbean... We spent a great day at Shoal Bay East. We ate at Uncle Ernie's and went snorkeling here, which ended up being our favourite snorkeling on the island! Initially we had trouble locating the reef, and swam over a lot of turtle grass before coming across the reef. It was certainly worth the effort as the reef was massive, beautiful... More

We have been visiting Anguilla annually for nearly a decade and Shoal Bay is certainly changing and not necessarily for the better. We used to dive from here and then spend time afterwards enjoying the beach, eating at Ernie's and just relaxing. The people were friendly and I could hang out whilst my husband dove a couple of dives. The... More
