Absolutely amazing beach. I really cannot imagine anything better- powder soft sand, aqua waters and complete tranquility. I can easily spend a day, a week, a month here gazing at the beautiful ocean. There are small cafes with cheaply priced chairs for purchase and tasty snacks/drinks. They have a chill band come out sometimes to perform. And there are bathrooms... More

So much sand and no rocks! I loved it. When you come to Anguilla you better visit this beach. Visit Hanks and have lunch and they will serve on the beach!

Yes it's real...all to it...the blue, the white, the sand, the landscape, the tranquility, the feeling. I've come to terms with myself that Shoal Bay, Anguilla, is the most beautiful beach I will ever visit. Take an entire day to calibrate your mind, soak in the water, jog, snorkel, find stillness. It will chafe your DNA. You have to see... More

This is a great beach but not my favorite in Anguilla (see Meads Bay). I was a bit disappointed with the snorkelling here this trip - I remember it being much better last time we were here - maybe just an "off" day (if there is such a thing in snorkelling). I prefer Meads Bay for 3 reasons - less... More

The colors of Shoal Bay are amazing! A great place for a morning jog as the beach is expansive and the breeze keeps on blowing. Watching the color of the water is one of the best ways to spend your day and clear your mind.

We explored the island back and fourth several times during our 1 week stay. This is by far the best beach in the whole island with the turquoise color and snorkeling from the shore

Don't hesitate. Take the ferry to Anguilla (20 mins from Marigot) at a cost of about $86 per couple round trip including ferry fees and departure taxes on both St. Martin and Anguilla. Get a cab (about $50 rt) to Shoal Bay - about a 20 minute ride, and you'll step onto a beach that cannot be rivaled by many.... More

I have been to most Caribbean islands, ranging from Curacao to Grand Cayman and I have yet to find such a beautiful beach as Shoal Bay East in Anguilla. The powder sand, water colour, light breeze, very light waves, and, most importantly, the lack of crowds makes this for me the best beach in the Caribbean, if not the world.... More

We spent the day at Shoal Bay, a day trip via charter boat from SXM. I will definitely be back!! The sand, the water, the tranquility, the snorkeling and the fabulous lunch at the beach restaurant... WOW! So peaceful and relaxing... Highly recommend!

We visited this tiny island on one of our stops during our honeymoon cruise. The white sands and the clear blue sea were a stark contrast to anything that we had ever seen before - and that left us in complete and utter awe. I don't think I've ever been to such a beautiful area that didn't seem to be... More
