This was probably the most incredible beach on the island. We went 2 different days. Island Carousel Hank's Seafood Restaurant & Bar served a great snapper and frozen drinks. The lounge chairs out front are free with drink/food service. We also had a frozen mojito (very delicious) at one of the local beach stands next to Hank's.

East Shoal Bay is a Paradise ! The water is fantastic, the sand is white and most of the time there are few people on the beach. There are some restaurants and snack bar on the beach, nothing special. My advice: do not take the seats and the umbrella just on the beach when you arrive. Walking 5 minutes on... More

The sand is creamy soft, the water a transparent bright blue, the facilities are ...well, rustic, and there are places to eat and drink. This time of the year, the beach is not crowded at all. The trip from Marigot, St Martin is somewhat expensive (15 USD going and again coming, with exit tax 3 USD from SXM and 8... More

There is no doubt that the beauty of Shoal Bay Beach will knock your socks off, perhaps even your swim suit. It is that gorgeous. However, there's another, elsewhere....just as gorgeous. Should you Anguilla fans have the opportunity to visit Antigua, you must - if no other - visit Valley Church Beach. I dare say, if Shoal Bay and Valley... More

One of thirty beaches on such a small island! loved it. Even though Anquilla is not for people on the budget, keep in mind, that this beach is very low key. It's not like laying down at the high end resorts that I loved it as well: Cap Juluca, Cuisinart or Viceroy... There is a place to eat and drink,... More

Wonderful aqua blue water with a long white beach and very few people at this time of year. Uncle Ernie's was a great, casual place to dine for lunch. A must see when you're in Anguilla!

It is absolutely the clearest, most beautiful water I have ever seen. And great for finding sea shells.

Spent a day at Shoal Beach in Anguilla and so glad that we did. I just hope that this beach stays undeveloped forever as it adds to the charm of Anguilla. Took the ferry from Marigot, Sint Marten for the 35 minutes ride to Anguilla. The boat ride there was a little rough and the ferry was hot. The same... More

This place seems almost too beautiful to be real. The sand is powder white and the water is so blue. All of our pictures look like postcards! Somehow despite the people, it is absolutely quiet and tranquil. Small cafes dotted along the beach have chairs for cheap rental and the food is so delicious and fresh. It really is a... More
