I love the huge amount of soft white sand against the teal warm ocean. Very large beach. Places to eat. Chairs to rent. Great beach to spend the day at just relaxing.

the beach is excellent - waves can be a bit strong depending on whether there was a storm the previous/current day (obviously); a good selection of restaurants to choose from. The beach chairs/umbrellas for rent at $10.00/day/person is a bit much considering many were torn and marked up - aside from this, it's worth it if your goal is to... More

I think everyone makes Shoal Bay beach part of their trip to Anguilla. It's gorgeous and the blue water reminded me very much of Bora Bora but without the 12 hour flight.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited. Not the place to go if you are looking for lots of people, but if you want to find a gorgeous, unspoiled beach, with brilliant blue/green water... This is the place to go.

My husband and I honeymooned at the Viceroy Anguilla and really wanted to experience as much of the island as possible during our week-long trip in Anguilla. We rented a car for a few days and drove up to Shoal Bay East for a few hours, as we heard it was the best beach. We totally agree! We loved the... More

We came here for a day trip from SXM to get away from the crowds. The sand is amazing, the water beautiful and the snorkeling isn't bad either.

We travel to Shoal Bay Anguilla from St Martin. We take the first ferry over from Marigot at 8:15. When you get to Marigot, you will need to go through three lines. The first is immigration control where they will handwrite your passport and name on a passenger manifest. You will receive a boarding pass which looks like monopoly money.... More

A must see on Anguilla and one of, if not THE nicest beach on the planet. Can get quite windy and the sea not as calm as I'd like, but it's just a beautiful part of a beautiful island. A must see. Plenty of choice of places to eat and drink, but take a walk up to the northern part,... More

Since we were told that Shoal Bay east was one of the world's best, we decided to spend a day there. It was a bit windy, so snorkeling was a bit of a hit and miss. We also wanted to try the glassbottom boat ride, but decided the sea was just a bit rough. All in all, a great day... More
