After going to Anguilla 11 times I finally met that first unfriendly Anguillan at Sandy Island who was the guy who runs the restaurant. We had called the day before and asked whether they supplied beach umbrellas. We were told yes. When we got there, I asked to rent one and was told with a dismissive shrug that they were... More

Although this trip is rated #2 on Trip Advisor, we did not find it so. Being picked up on a boat was kind of cool but that was it. There are far more beautiful beaches to be visited; snorkeling was poor - poor visibility, not many fish and lack of nice coral. Lunch was good but the whole trip was not... More

it is a "must go". we had such a wonderful time, there. a quick boat trip (10mn) to the smallest island i have ever seen. one side offers a great white sand beach, the other side offers easy access to little fish, sea animals (perfect for kids). David and the team who run the bar and restaurant are very sweet.... More

Yes, we were skeptical as well but we took a boat trip here for lunch and were not disappointed. We ordered the grilled crayfish/lobster combo and split it with drinks. I can't review any of their other items but this I would highly recommend. Simple and grilled with no sauce on it. Add your own hot sauce or whatever on... More

This was a great day trip. We took a boat from Sandy Ground about a 10 minute trip to the small island. It was 10$ per person to take the boat. We had a great lunch of very fresh fish and some rum punch. Saw a bunch of tropical fish while snorkeling. My son found 3 pristine sand dollars while... More

Take the little boat from Sandy Ground and spend the day on Sandy Island. Great snorkeling when sea is calm. They'll serve you drinks and cook your lunch...not too much shade. More
