Great half day experience. Kids loved being able to pick up and interact with a variety of animals. Purchasing items are very expensive there and tour guides tend to rush you through your experience and can be a bit pushy for tips but overall it was a great experience.

Agree to what people have written over here. It was expensive (90$ plus donation) and not very up to the mark. Even the glass bottom boat was ok. Only reason we went there was because of our 2 year old who had gala time, holding turtles and birds and even the snake. She made it up for us I guess.

It is a poor village so we didn't expect much, but we're sad to see how the animals were kept in general. The charge a fee and should be able to have a better setting. One of my kids liked being able to touch almost all the animals. The other kept mentioning how sad of an eviroment it was. They... More

Do not go...it is awful and so are the people who work there. They are very high pressure sellers and are very polite until you say no. None of the turtles or other creatures are in anything that resembles an environment. They are in concrete floored cages. It is a sad place to visit. You get there by glass bottom... More

We were told that this was a turtle conservation/rescue center. The short boat ride cost us about $80 (USD). When we got there, we were shown around by an employee who was pushy. We were told that it was free to get in. However, we were pressured to "donate" some money. There was a small area where the turtles were.... More

The saddest most depressing environments I have ever seen. How is this place allowed to operate.... are there no laws?? Disgusting and I'm regretful that we spent $225 on the worst tour EVER supporting these people who run this. As soon as walk in they throw at turtle at you and take a picture! It's disgusting! 11 caged porcupines, a... More

I completely agree with many of the other negative reviews on this site. The visit to this turtle park (misleadingly labelled as a conservation center) was very depressing. The older/larger turtles were clearly stressed, unresponsive, and we're being kicked by handlers right in front of us. The younger/smaller turtles were kept in dirty, shallow, concrete pools, with clear injuries. The... More

After arranging with our guide to take us to Turtle Island in Bali, we read some really bad reviews and decided not to go. We told our guide, but he said it would be good and not like they said. Well, it was even worse than we expected. It was absolutely horrible. Please do not support it in any way.... More

Don't go there! Under the label of conservation you along with hundred of other will be taken by boat to this place. You get to carry the small turtles for photos and a member of staff with then proceed to show you a sad looking snake with tape over it's jaw an eagle chained to a tree in the sun... More
