Was really exited to check out turtle island but was so very disappointed lots of turtles in small ponds and snakes with mouths taped large birds in small cages and very very sexist rude staff and whole tour took about 1/2 hour would not go back or recommend

A pretty sad place. There's no turtle conservation, just money hungry people making a profit of the turtles :(

We went with MBA Bali Tours and had a fantastic time. Thanks to Ketut for making this a great experience, I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

We went on this tour with Bali sun tours i imagined an island with turtles and got a tourist trap.Although the staff were nice and seemed genuine as most were volunteers the place just seemed dirty and way overcrowded.Would not recommend this try and find out if Turtles have laid there eggs on the beach at Nusa Dua between july... What a disgusting farce this was! It needs to be shut down as it exploits animals and allows tourists to continue the abuse. This was included with our resort accommodation at Grand Mirage. My 4 children and I were expecting to see turtles walking/swimming in large open areas on their own island. WOW what a gut-wrenching shock we got. Tiny... More

We were taken here as part of our jet ski package and left for an hour. It is not a turtle sanctuary it's a petting zoo. It's horrific. First of all you get baby turtles thrust at you to hold and get your photo taken (which they later try to sell for $15!). The turtles are kept in small basins... More

Staff are amazingly friendly willing to help and chat, would highly recommend them. I was shocked with the way that the animals are kept. Cages are clean but only one animal per cage (bat, eagle, iguana, etc) I felt sorry for them being handed from tourist to staff to tourist to staff. Photos are taken by staff and you are... More

Please don't come here! I came here because I love animals and sea turtles especially, and let me just say, this is a nightmare for all animals. People go on this shady boat tour to somewhere you can drive to, and there are all these shady people basically begging you for tips on top of a payment of 250,000 Rupiah.... More

This experience was entirely misrepresented to us as "turtle conservation farm". I was in tears seeing how the animals were flailing about in distress while being man-handled by both by tourists who wanted their photos taken, and even worse the animal handlers who obviously had no training and or didn't care about the welfare of the animals. The worst part... More

It was our only bad experience in bali. The glass bottom boat and "turtle island" is an absolute rip off and the conditions the keep the animals in are awful. Usually we research activities on here but our taxi driver just arrived at this place and we went along with it. Even our guide told us "this is bull**** island"..... More
