Went travelling with my parents who had stayed at Cobbold gorge last year and I really wanted to go after what they told me. They did the tour last year but wanted me and my kids (3&4) to see the place too so paid for us all to go. Of our whole 2wk trip the tour was my favourite part.... More

Greeted by the charming Kelly, delivered to clean and comfy rooms that are very well priced considering the difficulties of maintaining a place this size in the bush. Air conditioned comfort, spacious bathrooms, interesting pathways, sensational infinity pool and open deck for sitting and enjoying the night air and having a sing along. Plenty of good quality food, and the... More

We spent 2 nights at Cobbold Gorge in the best campsite on our whole 3 week trip. Individual well thought out fire pits with benches alongside made our set up more than comfortable. The amenities are brilliant and clean. The bar/restaurant and pool area is fantastic. Kellie at reception is genuinely warm and welcoming as are the rest of the... More

Cobbold Gorge camp area is excellent well maintained with modern facilities and reasonable prices in the bar / cafe. Although we stayed in Forsayth (an interesting town worth a look good Pub owned by Cobbolt people) deciding not to take the caravan the extra 90 k round trip on pretty rough roads. The tour was three hours commencing with a... More

After free camping near Georgetown-Forsayth we drove out to Forsayth early in the morning enroute to the Gorge. With time for a coffee and to admire the aboriginal mural on the wall at the public loos, then We continued the drive out to the Gorge. It is brilliantly organized and wished we had an off road caravan so we could... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our full day tour with Stephen who had so much fascinating information which he shared passionately. Such a great story and everything beautifully done with sustainability of this unique environment top priority. Would advise to stay on site at one of the many options and have more time to really enjoy.

After a 53km dusty drive from Forsayth the bus arrived here. A pond with bird life and kangaroos at the camping/dining/reception area saw us take a 4WD bus down to the gorge. Our guide took us on varied terrain, explaining local bus tucker, some history, before a quiet electric boat took us along the gorge. We did not see any... More

The walk is not a difficult one, the ground is uneven so may not be so suitable for some mobility aids. The second section of the tour... More
