Bruma is a typical wooden boat which used to carry timber from the islands. We refurbished it to do private tours for 2 up to 20 pax. Bruma has a large roofed area on the stern for 12 pax seated. There is a comfortable solarium area. We offer barbeque lunch or dinner on board with Argentine typical specialties and a Malbec to top it all. Run by its owners.

A perfect day

The best way to visit Tigre. The captain and his wife make you feel as if you were in your own boat. Great food!

My husband and I spent a day with Captain Carlos ("Chuck") and his wonderful assistant Walter aboard the Bruma, which proved a highlight for us not only of Buenos Aires, but of our entire South American vacation. Coming from a 2-week cruise, we didn't think anything could top Patagonia or the endless dining options on our cruise ship, but Bruma... More

Captain Chuck and Walter made this a memorable visit to Buenos Aires. We were amazed that he would take just the four of us for a cruise, and at such a reasonable price (certainly when compared to the cruise ship excursion). It was a Sunday on a holiday weekend so we got to see how the local people enjoy boating... More

Our tour of the Tigre Delta onboard the Barco Bruma (meaning misty) was a pleasant experience. First of all, Rosana and Captain Chuck are really nice friendly people and excellent hosts. Although a bit old, the boat was clean and comfortable with lots of room for our party of 16 people. Services from Rosana’s 3 staff were excellent and attentive.... More

Great to hear you had such a good time on board Bruma. Having 16 guests sitting in our two dinning rooms and offering a formal luch for them was a challenge but it came out perfect. We really appreciate that you have shared your experience with future customers. ¡Hasta pronto! More

Unmissable if you are wanting to experience Argentine life, Highly atmospheric and scenic. The boat itself provides wonderful food - 4 courses - and is extremely comfortable. You can socialise on the seats in the shade of the back deck and down below or lounge around on the front deck in the sun. A wonderful way of partaking in the... More

We spontanesously booked a trip with them. They did a great job driving on their boat through the delta, anchoring, bathing, great barbeque and providing great service to us. Highly recommended and totally worth the time and money.

I have gone on many day trips with them, as well as recommended them to a number of friends/family. Guaranteed to have a great time, and Chuck is very easy to communicate with.

Here is an absolutely perfect way to spend a little time outside of the busy city of Buenos Aires, with a day trip to Tigre on the gorgeous boat, the Bruma. We had a “private adventure” with a group of just four of us friends spending an entire afternoon with a lazy day on the river being pampered by “Captain... More

This is a really special, relaxed way to spend a day in the Delta. We called the day before and got lucky, and Chuck picked us up at the train station in Tigre and took us to the docks, where his beautiful old school boat the Bruma was. We spent the whole day on the private boat, cruising through the... More
