A must for all chocolate lovers and those who would like to know more about chocolate production. - there is all, from the raw beans to a few hundred types of chocolate bars. During the tour we ate so much chocolate, but we didnt try all of it! So we bought some "missing" bars at the end. The fruit combinatin... More

One of the best family experiences in Austria that we've visited so far! Follow chocolate production from the raw beans to the chocolate bar. Kids were crazy about it, must have eaten half a kilo of chocolate each thru the tasting round...

It was an amazing experience! Although we were skeptic at the beginning, after we entered the first tasting room our dream came true! We have never eaten so much chocolate, such a variety of combinations and mixes of spices, and fruits, and caramel and nuts.... Positive was that it was lunch time and we were hungry. Maybe we will take... More

Smack in the center of Southern Styria’s wine country (think Tuscany with rolling hills and vineyards) and in the shadow of the impressive Riegersburg, is a - chocolate factory! And not just any manufacture: this is a ‘bean to bar’ enterprise (think Theo Chocolate in Seattle’s Fremont, just so much larger). Its founder, Josef Zotter, is a zany purveyor of... More

The entrancefee is really worth it! The area around is worth visiting, so is the chocolate factory! You taste all sorts they produce. So be aware to leave some space in your stomach. And be aware to fill sick afterwards. Don't forget to visit the edible zoo. One point is a pity, the second movie in the theatre at the... More

Excellent museum if you enjoy eating chocolate, you won't be disappointed! Nice walk trough the factory where you get to follow the whole production line both by vision and by audio guide. Mr Zotter himself walks trough the store at the end of the museum and let visitors take pictures of themselves and himself.

This is the second time we visit the factory and the chocolate theatre, but definetely is is getting better. The tour starts with a film about the whole Zotter cocoa story, introducing the bean to bar philosophy and the long journet of the ingredients. After the film, the chocolate madness is starting up, you can sample everything from roasted cocoa... More

This has to be one of the most creative chocolate places in the world. There is finer chocolate to be had in the world, but the array of different flavors and fillings here is dizzying. And it's all organic, all free trade. Nearby Riegersburg makes it very easy to drop in. The showroom and the tour are worthwhile although if... More
