This was my fiancée and I's first wine-tasting experience and I have to say it was great fun. These were down to earth, warm and welcoming people making great wine and were passionate about what they do. You could not ask for more from hosts. As for the wine, it was like manna from heaven. I am not an impulsive... More

We were so looking forward to this. However, we arrived to a modern, unattractive building and were seated on mismatched, cheap garden furniture in tatty surroundings. Not what we had anticipated at all. The tour of the vineyard was uninspiring and far too long for some. The wine did not flow and only red was available on the tour. Back... More

During a July trip to the Languedoc area, we followed prior Trip Advisor reviews and visited O'Vineyard for an evening of wonderful wine and food. Just a short distance north of the city of Carcassonne, you drive through a neighborhood and wonder how there can possibly be a vineyard amid the homes. Then you go around a curve in the... More

The whole experience at O'vineyards was immensely enjoyable. The weather was grey and miserable, but we had an interesting and knowledgeable tour from Joe who was a very friendly and engaging host. Liz provided us with some wonderful homemade snacks to go along with some of the stonking reds that Joe kept producing for us to try. The €25 price... More

I shall not give away all the details as you should experience this vineyard tour for yourselves. Joe and Liz could not have been more accommodating. They booked us in on short notice later the same day. I used my somewhat limited yet passable French to arrange it, not realising they are both US expats. The venue itself is quite... More

Convivial and generous hosts, Candid conversation, Great food, Fascinating incite into the world of the ex-pat wine maker in France, all washed down with excellent wine. I'm not going to say much more, apart from a hope that I can visit again and that the bottle of O'Chasan 2013 that I took home with me tasted as good as the... More

After reading the recommendations on Trip Advisor, we booked an overnight stay at O'Vineyards to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had a really great time. Joe and Liz are most gracious hosts and very knowledgeable about the vineyard, wine, food, you name it. We booked an overnight stay in the Merlot room and turning up at 4pm were greeted... More

We enjoyed our tour of Joe's vineyards in late July. We arrived around 15 minutes early, but Joe was extremely happy to welcome us on his sun terrace with a cold glass of his wonderful white wine. After several top ups (generous hosts, to say the least) the rest of the party had arrived and we enjoyed a really interesting... More

We arrived and were greeted by a lovely dog, stunning surroundings and a glass of wine: so far so good! We toured round the wonderful vineyards and wine cellar for about 1 hour. We learnt about the region, the grapes and how Joe works with local taste- experts to blend his wines. His passion for what he does was palpable.... More
