We visited the beach on ft Pickens road. The drive is very nice with white sands on both sides of the road. The beach is clean without any pollution. The views are amazing with clean white sand. Very nice pictures can be taken. Beach is must visit.

We look forward to a relaxing time on the off season here, rates are affordable, traffic isn't an issue and all our favorite restaurants are available with little or no wait. Beautiful.

sigh...I miss that beach. We just went in November for the Blue Angels final show and Alumni Association reunion. Had to rent a car and drive over to Pensacola Beach to see how it had rebuilt after the hurricane that came through prior to my last trip in 2005. It has recovered well. I live on the coast of Texas... More

Pure white sand, just a great place to chill out, not too many hotels. Brilliant vantage point to watch the sun setting whilst having an evening drink

Quite an honor - only two other Florida beaches and two Hawaiian beaches were ranked higher than P'Cola Beach. There's a reason for that. Come see. The Florida Emerald Coast rocks, and the greater Pensacola region is the cornerstone.

Where did they get all that white sand? Must have had it trucked from somewhere. Along with the emerald, aqua marine colored gulf. (please see my review, same title, for Gulf Islands National Seashore of Feb 19. I was actually reviewing the P'cola portion of that Seashore.)

Pensacola beach is just tops. Absolutely clear green water, light waves, and you can lay facing the water the whole day and get sun on all sides (it rises from one end of the beach and sets on the other). And downtown Pensacola is just booming with restaurants, wine bars, and so much culture. There is a ton to do!

I believe Pensacola Beach is a hidden treasure. It is not as crowded as Destin. It has a small town feel with a great beach. Good bars and restaurants on the island.

Pensacola Beach is so beautiful! Sugar white sand that feels so good to walk on. Soft and sparkly to look at. I love it! This is a perfect place to relax, smell the sea air and enjoy the beauty. There are plenty of restaurants and hotels right on the island. The boardwalk is nice too. Great place if you like... More
