We viewed the Court of The Patriarchs from the Sand Bench Trail as we were on our way back to the Lodge. Plus you see it every time you take the shuttle down canyon. It's a geologic smorgasbord of different rock formations. That they are side-by-side the way they are makes for some interesting theories on how they formed. Hello... More

The whole park is a great, but on the bus ride this was our first of many wow moments. The patriarchs are beautiful. While riding the bus to the stopping point, take time to listen to the audio tracks to learn more about how these were first introduced to the modern world and it's history.

Get off the shuttle to get some good pictures of the towering peaks. Do it in the morning on your way in and also in the evening too to see the same scene in a different light.

Very short hike up to the viewpoint but great sight of those towering peaks. We stopped here earlier in the morning while biking up. Small area and would quickly be too crowded

We actually enjoyed this area by horseback, because this is the area they use for their trail rides. We also learned a little more of the history from the horse wranglers/cowboys on the tour. Well worth the visit, no matter how you get there:) There is a fee to get into the park, but once in, you can stop off... More

Probably one of the most famous scenes at Zion - and worth getting off the shuttle & walking the short distance to view from the overlook for the best view. What I DO recommend is riding the shuttle ALL the way to the last stop, so you get the full travelog of recorded messages for every area (they only play... More

Great short hike to a spectacular view of the Three Patriarchs and the surrounding mountains. Not a long walk to get to the observation area but well worth the stop on the bus trip.

As part of a far too brief visit to Zion, we stopped at the viewpoint that gave the best view of Court of the Patriarchs. You feel insignificant at Zion because you just continually look up. We stayed about 10 minutes and just marveled at these formations. Wind, water and millions of years to carve out this canyon and all... More

You can't really miss this as you drive into or out of the main Zion canyon road but even though we've been here several times it'll always look different in various lights etc. Stop and take some photo's it's amazing.

This would be the 1st view point of the Scenic Canyon drive. We arrived too early and the towers were still with shadows. So best bet to get a good shot of the famous vista of Zion would be around late morning, the golden towers against a deep blue sky. Simply amazing.
