Given the ratings of this feature by others, I didn't want to miss it. There are many magical views all along the road and this is no exception. The path to the overlook is paved, short and a little steep if you are not a hiker--it will take you five minutes. But, once you have ascended the little path to... More

The walk is on a short trail but pretty steep. Well worth the efforts for the view of the Sentinel and the three Patriarchs.

The Court of the Patriarchs which is located within Zion National Park is a set of sandstone cliffs which look more like mountains and are named for Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They tower above you as you tour the Canyon floor. Most amazing colors! We pale in comparison to these majestic figures. GO AND SEE!

This is one of the easiest trails in Zion. It's only about 0.1 mile if that from the shuttle stop to the overlook. Outstanding view of the 3 patriarchs and a sign explaining why they are called that.

Abraham,Isaac and Jocab can not all be seen clearly from the road. You must either hike up o foot or ride a horse. The horses are right across from Zion Lodge. That is the fastest and most entertaining way to view this natural wonder.

Especially at dawn if you can manage it. A shuttle stop leads to a viewing platform a little above the road.

The shuttle drops you off in view of the patriarchs. There is a short walk to an viewpoint if you would like better camera angles. Worth taking the time to see while in the park.

These sandstone rock formations are named after the Biblical figures Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They tower over the entrance of Zion National Park. Each has a very different and beautiful look.

It's a wide open field and animals come through to just graze. We saw the most deer here and they would just walk and eat along the roadway.

Another area in Zions National Park that is fabulous! We thoroughly loved the different scenery along the trail and the amazing topography.
