This is a super easy trail with some pretty amazing views at the end. If you are short on time or don't have energy for any big hikes, choose this. There is a little elevation gain but requires nothing technical, just the ability to walk and breathe. The views from the top are pretty amazing. Zion is my favorite NP.... More

Looking to get off of the flat trails, but not get out of your comfort zone with elevation or length? This is an excellent mid-range trail in Zion, with fantastic views and many nice photo opportunities. You will get a decent workout, but the climb is not overly strenuous. Make sure to complete the loop at the top to see... More

This moderate hike offers a good break from some of the more strenuous trails at Zion and Bryce for an "off day" or starter at Zion. Pretty easy for all though does have a few narrow sections on the way up that may present a challenge for those with heights anxiety. Nice views along the way and at the loop... More

The watchman trail is moderate to difficult. It doesn't require any climbing, but it does involve a decent elevation gain. On a really hot day, I would call it difficult. We drank a lot of water on the way up (about a liter each), but just took a couple sips on the way down. The hike itself is very pretty.... More

This is a moderate hike located near the visitor center. I wouldn't recommend hiking it when there's showers because it can get quite muddy and a little slippery.

The trailhead at the Visitor's Center goes past the campground, along the Virgin River, and out to some beautiful views on the plateau. The trail isn't too difficult but there are a lot of rocks aligned across the trail (likely to reduce erosion) so you do have to watch your step, especially in certain areas. There's a nice extension in... More

The Watchman Trail is a very nice one, albeit a tougher one than some of the other options in the park. Takes you up to some very nice views, especially for those who won't be traveling to East Zion. Honestly, if you ARE going to East Zion, especially if you have extra time, you will have the opportunity for some... More

Moderate walk from the visitors centre, perfect length for the evening when the light really brings out the colours of the canyon walls Takes around two hours with stops and is well worthwhile

The watchman trail is the very first at the "Sringdale" entrance of the park. It takes 2 hrs to complete. Once you reach the summit at +/_ 120 m elevation (if I reall well!). The view is great. I would recommend this trail that is "Moderate difficulties".

Great trail. A bit tough on the way up for my 66 yr old mom but totally worth it. Great views at the top of the park as well as Springdale. Try to do it to time with the sunsetting. I was there on a busy summer day and passed very few people which was nice.
