this is one of the most popular hikes in the park even tho it is quite difficult (1480' elevatin gain - and is some places straight up a series of switch backs) and to some scary (cliff edge climbing). Don't let that deter you...it is worth the effort. I am a born mountain goat so I didn't have any problem... More

One of the best views in the house... but beware. The exposure on the last pitch is not to be underestimated - those with a high sense of heights or young kids should consider their ability to complete the last pitch Great park - start early in the AM especially in the summer months

If you don't have a fear of heights and you are an adult, this is a magnificent hike in Zion National Park that should not be missed. Be sure to start early in the day because much of the hike is uphill and in full sun. The switchbacking trail is fun to travel, the narrow trail is exciting and the... More

I was the first on top of Angel's Landing today, and boy was it worth getting out of bed early! The light in the early morning is magic...the orange and red rock really pop, and the surroundings looked just like those magic photos you see posted everywhere. I took the first shuttle from the Visitor's Center to the Grotto. Just... More

Was a bit nervous about the hike as am not a big fan of heights. Thankfully my husband was much more confident about my abilities which really helped. It's TOUGH! Walters wiggles are hard enough as a cardio workout but the real hard bit is not losing your concentration when you get to the deathly bit! Little legs will find... More

THIS CLIMB IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! first part tiring, last part dangerous. My 8 year old went up the whole thing like a mountain goat, but my 12 year old got freaked out 15 minutes into the final accent and my wife had to bring him back down to the rest area at Scout's Landing 3/4 of the way up.... The hike up to Angel's landing is long and worth every step. The view is spectacular but the last pitch is very dangerous! Make sure that you are a in very good shape if you want to go all the way to the top! You will know when you get to Scout's landing if you want to brave the spine... More

The views couldn't be better, and the hike is only for people who are in very good or better shape! Great workout! Don't forget your camera!

Love the Hike, the view from the top is amazing. One of my all time favorite hikes. It is getting crowded, try to avoid crowds by going really early or late evening. Or during the weekday.

I loved this! I love heights and this was a very well structured hike, with the paths, steps and chains. The views were just breathtaking and the path is so interesting that there is always something to take of your mind off of the drops. This hike will really stick in my mind and it was totally worth the effort... More
