Since you really have no choice this shuttle is a good deal. It runs frequently and there are a number of stops. There is narration as it goes up the canyon and there are windows in the roof that give more of a view than a regular bus. The narration doesn't happen on the way back down which is unfortunate... Loved the fact that you didn't have to fight traffic on these roads to get to the trail heads. The Shuttle ran continously and it was always there to pick you up or take you to the next stop. Very clean, nice/friendly drivers and competent. Very good idea

The only way to see and get to most of the park is to take the scuttles. They run often, but still get full especially first thing in the morning.

We had a wonderful early morning walk in Zion and saw nice wildlife and views. but to me it is not worth more than one day - i am not quite sure why zion is quite so popular - i much prefer bryce, yellowstone, yosemite etc - all much more dramatic. it is very lovely though in a peaceful kind... Comes every 10 minutes. Pick it up at the visitor center and it takes you through the park. Automated recording gives you good information on the park and its history. Hits all the major points, and runs from early in the morning (7am) to later at night (8PM when we were there)

The shuttle schedule is great since there are numerous shuttle buses that arrive very quickly. The buses are comfortable and provide enough room for everyone. Bikes can be attached to the front of the shuttle. On the way up the canyon, there is an automated voice that gives a brief tour/summary of Zion which is interesting and informative. The shuttle... This shuttle service is a class act. It enabled us to see much of the park without having to worry about finding parking places every time we wanted to stop. There was narratio while the shuttle was in motion which was totally ruined during one segment since some tourists ruined when they just wouldn't shut up and listen. Other than... More

we appreciated the fact that the trolley was free and worry free; just hop on and ride till you see something you want to look at; take your time and look around, then hop on the next trolley; they ran pretty close to scheduled every 10 or 15 min.
