The Zion shuttle system has two major benefits: 1. It keeps the traffic in the park under control and 2. It is a great introduction for people new to the park. It also makes it very easy to stay outside of the park and just ride the shuttle into various points within the park. Highly suggested during the summer: Check... More

We rode the shuttle in the heat of the summer. It was warm, but with the windows up top and on the sides, there was very good air circulation. The views through the large windows were spectacular! We got off at several stops and never had to wait more than 5 minutes to catch another shuttle. I highly recommend walking... More

We had know idea that a bus could be soooo hot!! The windows barely open and there is no air conditioning. You really can't see anything unless you hike so the shuttle is pointless. And did I mention they are packed with stinky, sweaty hikers. Not a good experience for us....

I was resistant at first, but was won over quickly by the shuttle. First class service with a shuttle every 10-15 min. This is QUICKER than driving (which you cant do in the park anyway). Bring your backpack, lunch and water and there's no need to leave the park or go back to your car. Or, take the shuttle to... More

This is a fabulous service. One of the best things we did on our trip was to enjoy the Ride with a Ranger program. You have to go to the visitor center 24 hours or less before the time you want to do this activity. The scheduled times are 9 AM, which we enjoyed, or 6:30 PM. The trip lasts... More

The shuttle service at Zion is first class. The buses come frequently and are clean and comfortable. The audio tour is very informative, timed perfectly with the scenery, and the recommendations (and warnings, i.e.,"Angels Landing is steep!") are very enjoyable and accurate. i wish we had this quality of shuttle service in all of our national parks. It was really... More

We were surprised to find such great shuttle system from the city to the park and then within the park. It was on time at each stop with good view from the windows on the side and the top. We also enjoyed the narritative and the points of interest.

This is a must for your trip to Zion. The schedule fits if you have days to spend or only a few hours. You can park your car at your lodging & with few exceptions, the shuttle will pick you up close by & take you straight to the park. The shuttle runs from early am to late pm. The... More

We visited Zion in late August and took full advantage of the shuttle. We stayed at the Desert Pearl Inn and would take the town shuttle to the visitor center. From there you board a shuttle into the park. You will learn the history of park, and learn about all of the wildlife at Zion. The shuttle makes frequent stops... More

Well i did some research before going on this trip with my family and this forum helped me out so much and i wanted to really thank everyone that answered all my questions. We had a great time. We started out with Angel's Landing and then the emerald pools. We ate at the lodge that was right across from the... More
