I love that there are no cars and only the shuttle. Other parks you have to put up with lots of cars trying to find limited parking, and drivers looking at scenery instead of paying attention to driving. Like me. The shuttles are very convenient, run very frequently, and stop many places up and down the canyon. You can get... More

Much better than parking lot stalking and shuttle run often, however, many were full or had standing room only. There was a semi-dry but nice narration on the way there, but the way back was silent. The national parks pass worked fine to get in, for us as a couple. Bus was clean and the staff was courteous.

Hopefully this is the same tour we used. It was so informational and well worth the trip. I am really happy that we got a chance to do the shuttle.

For most of the year you can't drive into Zion (and there is limited parking). The shuttle stops at all the major trail heads, and, going into Zion there is a very interesting recorded narration. The drivers (who are all very friendly) also point out items of interest. Get a seat on the right as you enter the bus going... More

The narration on the shuttle tells you about all the sites in the canyon. Sadly no cars are allowed so one has to jump off and then on the shuttle meaning that the opportunities for some photos are limited unless you want to walk. The scenery is breathtaking. A shuttle comes to each stop every 10 minutes so it makes... More

The fact that you are forced to experience the magnificent views with a shuttle load of other people diminishes the joy of being out in the natural world of one of the most beautiful places on earth.

I understand the need for shuttles. The goal is to lessen traffic etc. We visited in the somewhat off season and the shuttles were numerous and crowded. You can get off and on and by a quarter of the way we were standing room only. Also for a portion was on with some really loud hung over young adults, more... More

The Shuttle is required during most of the year at Zion. It arrives every 7-15 minutes and you can stop and view or hike and then get back on the shuttle and go to the next desired stip. Big view windows are on both sides of the shuttle and in the roof.

During the spring and summer months, Zion operates on a shuttle system to alleviate the amount of traffic in the park. This is a great way to make it easier to get around, as well as help out the environment. The shuttle are fairly frequent, and stop at a number of high interest places, mainly where there are a few... More

I found the shuttles were very convenient and frequent. Definitely the way to go around within the park, especially given the nightmarish situation of the parking situation in the park.
