One of the most beautiful drives you can ever take. Its about a 30 mile drive down into the Canyon with the most spectacular views of the deepest canyon in the U.S. We stopped at almost every turnout to take pictures of the stone walls and gushing rivers below.

I loved this drive! The waterfalls, old cabin, streamside walks, scenic views- it was all great! It was also a lot less crowded than Sequoia Park!

We loved this 26 mile trip into Kings Canyon. Stop at the visitor center and watch the video to understand what you are about to experience. The first part of the drive is up steep, winding, narrow roads, with the high Sierras all around you. Then you drive down to the canyon floor and along the river. There is no... More

This drive is beyond beautiful. It is a great way to spend the better part of a day. The colors of the mountain rocks, along with the rivers & waterfalls, make this one of the most scenic roads in the U.S. Do not miss it if you visit Kings Canyon National Park.

One of the most picturesque drives I have taken so far. Not much more can be said other than this is a beautiful, thrilling drive through one of the deepest canyons in North America, all while hugging the banks of the mighty Kings River. If you have the time, definitely do this drive. If you are not staying at the... More

This is a wiry nice drive to Roads end. Windy road but not scary, there is some steep section. Fuel up your car before you go.

Awesome views! But also scary views, with lots of sheer drop-offs. So, drive slow and use the multiple pull-offs. Don't forget your camera. The views are worth much more than a cell phone camera.

This is an amazing drive with lots of stops on the way to enjoy Kings Canyon beauty. The drive begins from Kings Canyon Visitor center at 6,600 ft and ends at Zumwalt Meadow at an elevation of approximately 4,600 feet. The road goes down gently carved through the magnificent granite mountains to the bottow of Kings Canyon. The road has... More

The road is definitely not for the faint of heart, a lot worse in many areas. Not many pull-off areas, I would have enjoyed it much more had I not been driving a big 25'RV.
