Ok be prepared for lots of driving down windy roads and being very remote and enjoy the most stunning scenery and natural beauty you can imagine! This whole area is amazing and worth exploring, the visitor centre is open all year and can give lots of information on trails and roads that are open. Be aware that large areas in... More

Has all the needed facilities for filling up your stocks, also offers accommodation and a visitor center with adequate information. One of the few places up there, where you have internet connection.

Roaring river falls is a short hike from the parking area, and if you can visit in the spring when the river is realy going it is wonderful. but even in the early fall it is worth the short hike to the falls. When it is hot the spray from the falls will keep you cool.

Rarely nice staff that was both friendly and helpful. The setting is fantastic and the design of the center fits right in.

I am sure park rangers get very tired of answering repetitive questions over and over again but the ranger I encountered acted put out with my questions. I think he was bored. Had to wait in line to use restroom at this location.

The two members of staff there obviously love to work there, you can see they enjoy what they are doing. They definitely overcome your expectations when asked for help. Inside the centre there is a "museum" with information about the area and also a short movie is being played, no admission. Great!

A well laid out visitor center with lots of reference books, reading material and gift ideas. Located right at Grant Grove on Highway 180. An excellent place to stop and get help planning your visit, from local strolls to day hikes and more.
