We spent the best part of a day travelling all over this park. We drove through as we had a four year old with us but I'd love to do some honking through here. This drive is surreal, really looks like a forest but of cactu not trees. Amazing place

Ths place really showcase the beauty of tucson. Entrance to the park was 10 per vehicle. I drove the senic 8 mile route. I found it very peaceful and bliss. The road goes one way and the path starts on the left. Be mindful of other cars as this is a one lane road and no way to pass up... More

Yes, you may see or read another name, Cactus Forest Drive but it is the same thing. Saguaro National Park is split, there is an East and a West Saguaro Park. Roughly indicating its position relative to the city of Tucson. They are however quite different from each other. We like them both but for different reasons. Saguaro East is... More

We enjoyed this scenic drive. If you just take the drive at the speed limit it will not take long but stopping along the way for pictures and short hikes is part of the fun. The drive is one way and every corner or hill gives you another post card view of this beautiful park. No place to purchase food... More

We live within five miles of Saguaro National Park East, and so have made many, many trips along Cactus Forest Drive. Have gone at different times of the day, and different times of the year, and have always appreciated the beauty and the grandeur of the landscape. This paved road is eight miles long, and there are many turnout and... More

This is an interesting trail if you like to learn about cacti, other local plants and what happened with the surroundings over the years. Especially if you have difficulties to hike/walk this is perfect. You can drive with your own car and step out for short strolls. There is no particular fee, but you have to pay the entrance fee... What a sight to behold. We drove through late afternoon and there were a lot of people there. We didn't really see any animals but the saguaros were impressive. It will he gorgeous in a month or so when things start blooming. For $10/car you can't beat this attraction.

A nice drive with beautiful views. There are quite a few places to pull off for walks, photos or walking among the cacti. We went first thing in the morning because it was so hot - I would probably avoid it all together in the summer...
