The sun peeked over the mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park and back-lit the aspens as they shimmied in the breeze. It was a good day for a hike to Ypsilon Lake. Decided to do this hike to get away from the crowds and with this we succeeded. It was interesting to see the damage caused by the 2013 floods. I was a wonderful easy going hike. The views were great along the way. It was exhilerating to reach the destination.
