A great choice in Olympic National park for a reasonably easy hike. Very scenic walk, and beautiful falls when you reach the end. Definitely recommend this trail if you visit the park.

Make sure the sun will be in the right position for your visit, and just go! Pro Tip: Have someone in your party wear a read sweatshirt or jacket and have them stand on the bridge when you photograph the falls, the rainbow and bridge - that way you’ll get a person in the shot for scale, and the red... We went to Sol Duc just to see the resort and the falls. The resort looks clean, smells of sulfur, the pools look like normal pools. We did not stay there so that is as much as I can say on that. The hike though was one of the most beautiful. We liked it better than the Hoh. The hike... More

The hike to Sol Duc Falls is an easy mile. It was just right for our 6 year old. The trail is pretty and interesting, and once you get to the falls you can dip your toes in. Very nice hike for anyone.

This was a very nice and easy hike to the falls, many trails branch off from the falls, we hiked up the river and enjoyed a picnic by the water, some light exploring and an easy hike back to the parking lot.

We had a few hours to spend before heading back home, so we decided to try the falls. It was much more than expected! Powerful falls in a lovely Forrest.

The walk to Sol Duc Falls (also known as Soleduck Falls - honestly!), is an easy one. You pass through a gorgeous temperate-and-almost-rain forest in order to reach a striking and unusual waterfall. Personally, the woods were the highlight, but the Falls are pretty. Highly recommended, and unlike the walk up Hurricane Hill, you won't feel like you need a... More

A nice hike leading to the waterfall. The greenery all along the way is enjoyable. You also get to see creeks with crystal clear water. Once you reach the falls, you can continue the hike further or choose to return.

This was an amazing waterfall within an easy 0.8 mile hike from the parking lot. We carried a 2 year old on our backs the whole way and didn't die. The falls were raging, even in August. Very cool and a must see.
