Probably the signature waterfall in ONP. The hike is relatively short through old-growth forest. Neat smaller falls serve as a prelude to the tri-falls at the end of the trail. If you take a only handful of walks during your visit to Olympic, this should be on your list.

I wish the water levels had been higher, but regardless, the short hike to get there is beautifully lined and shaded and there are several viewpoints at which to see the falls.

We hiked from the parking lot so it was about .8 mile one way. This is an easy hike with outstanding scenery and beautiful falls. Wear good footwear it may be a bit wet on the path due to rain. This is a must do hike in ONP. you will not be disappointed.

This hike was very mild and easily done by my entire family. The scenery was gorgeous and the falls beautiful. There were a few streams to stop and play in if the weather had been warm. This is a must see.

The falls are impressive, though apparently water volume is diminished by a warm winter with minimal snow pack in the mountains. In June there are lovely wildflowers along the trail

We drove our RV to the end of a road and parked at a trailhead. You can do a short hike just to the bridge over the river-where everyone takes the famous bridge photo or you can move on farther. The day we were there we had little competition for the trail. Make sure you watch your footing as it... More

Easy hike around 2 miles from the campground. Narrow pathway that is not wheelchair accessible. Falls were beautiful and serene. Along the way, the kids stopped to played in a babbling brook for about an hour. We'll definitely be back.

We did the hike to Sol Duc Falls and it was worth the effort, it really is a short easy hike so anyone can see the falls which makes it a bit crowded but worth the journey. It is an impressive falls that you can climb down onto the rocks for a picture from the nearby bridge, great photo op... More

We love seeing waterfalls & this one was no exception. The mist coming off the falls & the power of this water fall was pretty intense! Definitely a must-see if you are in the Sol Doc area. The hike to the falls wasn't super strenuous & it was a peaceful wall through the woods.
