Several interpretive programs, clean restroom, nice store, fabulous location. The do serve lunch food though you might avoid the pizza unless you are really hungry. Had heard their were marmots and mountain goats on nearby Hurricane Hill.

Between the movie, the mini museum and stuffed elk on display, the friendliness of the people working there and the background setting, it was a lovely place to get us ready for a lovely adventure in the O.N.P.

The Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center is nicer than the main Visitor Center and has great views. This is a good place to start your tour of the park, talk with rangers, and buy some souvenirs. A recommended stop especially for those who are not able to hike the Hurricane Ridge trail.

The visitors center at hurricane ridge is a great place to do some shopping or use the bathroom. There are several exhibits about the area and the ranger staff was great with answering questions.

The views at the top are the best in the park plus you have some of the most difficult trails to choose from. Hurricane Ridge trail is one of the more difficult trails, so pack a lot of water.

When we have family and friends visit us for the first time, and want to experience the beauty of Western Washington, I always think of Hurricane Ridge....Even if they are not hikers, anyone can experience the majestic mountains, rising above the cloud line to see sunshine, snow capped mountain peaks, in season wild flowers and abundant wild life. Pack a... More

We ended a fabulous day with a trip up hurricane ridge and were expecting a little bit of mountain-ish sights. Boy were we surprised! It is a tricky and long 17 mile drive up the hill. It was cloudy and rainy at parts so we weren't sure we would get much of a view but we cleared the clouds and... More

We were actually surprised to find a visitors center at the top of our scenic drive. It contained a small gift shop and restrooms, as well as lots of interesting information about the area. People were relaxing on the porch; one person was simply chilling while reading a book. Maybe he had been there a while? I couldn't take my... More

The drive to the visitor center is well worth the trip and beautiful vistas await your arrival once you arrive. We loved seeing the deer so close up, found the displays interesting and visited the store and the cafe. Great destination!
