The marvels of creation in this tranquil setting are magnificent. Deer come up to you, but don't feed them. Worth at least an hour - more if you take some of the more challenging hikes.

Well taken care of... At the very top of the mountain. Nice restrooms and a great place to use if needed. Views are amazing and worth the trip up!

Fantastic views of the Olympic Mountains and glaciers. The rangers and exhibits were informative. The drive down the ridge was harrowing! There are very steep drop-offs and hairpin curves with no guard rails. We encountered numerous bikers and our swerves to avoid them were chilling!

There were restrooms and food downstairs but I did not get down there. Upstairs was a helpful young woman ranger who gave me information on the hiking trails. Great model of the whole park good perspective of the magnitude of this magnificent area. Good large sized explanation of the flora and fauna on the wall. Great description of the park... More

We took our toddler son up here for a little drive. We honked our car horn on the way through 3 tunnels... yes 3! He loved the sounds. We saw a few deer in the park, one literally posed for us along the road! Visitors center had nice amenities & shopping, but also celebrates the view. Our son loved playing... More

This visitor center was not gorgeous, but well prepared. I don't like visitor centers that are too decorative or fancy for me to keep focus on the nature I really want to see. It has many big windows through which I can make good connections between information inside and landscape outside. Very kind and professional rangers too!
