Step back in time.... gorgeous spot! Next time we are here, we plan to stay in one of the cottages (dog-friendly). We enjoyed our short visit, walked around the lakeshore, and checked out the main lodge and cottage area, and relaxed lakefront for a while. Even if you can't stay at the lodge, this is a great spot for a... More

It has a very special feeling about it. The waters are clear and blue, the surrounding hills tall and green. I feel utterly at peace here.

Crescent Lake is beautiful, but on a sunny day, it is amazing! The blues of the water are fabulous and something you don't see everywhere. Well worth a visit!

Lake Crescent is one of the jewels of the Olympic National Park, along with equally beautiful Lake Quinault in the south part of the park. It is a long, fairly narrow, very deep and cold glacier carved lake, with especially clear water, allowing people on the lake to view the lake bottom up to 60 feet deep. Here also are... More

Poor accommodations and the food not worth the price but at least go to the lake. Had a great time jumping off the pier and floating on driftwood.

Beautiful Alpine Lake, but the star is the short hike to Marymere Falls. A great choice this was a reasonable hike with a challenging climb close to the falls. But worth the trek for the view. Definitely recommend this trail if you visit the park.

The lodge has wifi! …and really good food. Photograph the sun setting over the lake and dock. Take an ND filter for your camera so you can take a long exposure and smooth out the water in the photo.

The hike to Marymere Falls is a must, though the stairs at the end of the trail to the falls can be a little steep. But there are railings to hang on to. It's a lovely little walk in the woods.

Lake color is just pretty. Nice to drive along side it. Lodge looked nice. Beach area by the lodge with a dock
