This is a beautiful glacier fed turquoise blue lake. Elk graze along the shore and the surrounding forests inlude sitca spruce, hemolocks. and alders. A great experience just riding along highway 101 and viewing the lake. More

Steam was rising from the lake on the early November morning that me and a friend visited. A lone pier juts out into the lake giving you pristine views of the surrounding area. Absolutely amazing. More

this is a gorgeous clear pale blue inland lake formed eons ago by the movement of glaciers and volcanoes...it is usually calm for kayaking and canoing...lovely quiet place to hike up to Marymere Falls and farther into the park... More

I drove around the Olympic Peninsula and found Crescent Lake on the way to Port Angeles. The sun came out just as we stopped to look. It was beautiful! We did not have time to hike to the falls, but I took amazing pictures of the waterways feeding into the lake. I would love to spend a few days here.... More

We visited in July - stopped to eat lunch at the lodge and enjoy the views of the lake. It's a beautiful, peaceful lake that reminds you of simpler times. A must visit while in Olympic. More

This lodge is like a scene from a movie, almost to good to be true. Take a canoe out into the azure blue, freezing cold water - hike in the rain forest, or enjoy a seasonal ale in the historic lodge. The little huts they rent are amazing - and an amazing value. More

Lake Crescent and the Lake Crescent Lodge are for those you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The lake is incredibly deep and the mountains seem, and do rise straight up from the lake. The lodge dates to the 1930's. It has been renovated, with rooms in the lodge as well as cabins. The last time I... More

This was a pleasant surprise to discover this place. When we got there it was almost night time so it was too late to really see just how beautiful this was place is. I got up the next morning and was stunned by the sun rising through the clouds and the mist. I am from Louisiana and we just don't... More
