Lake Crescent is always a beautiful lake to drive by along Highway 101. For the first time I believe, I actually stopped and explored it a bit more. The Storm King ranger station area is a great place to stop. The Marymere Falls trail starts here and there is also a short nature trail to enjoy too. The nature trail... More

Absolutely beautiful lake! We were just passing through but I'm sure this would be a SPECTACULAR lake for swimming and rafting. If you go to the Crescent Lake Lodge you can park and enjoy the lake from there.

The lodge on the lake looks like a summer camp destination and the lake itself looks like you could spend days kayaking or fishing.

My wife and I just returned from a week long stay on the south east shore of Lake Crescent near Lake Crescent Lodge. On day one we hiked to the top of Mount Storm King and were gifted a glorius (and cloudless) view of almost the entire 10 mile long lake. It was ou base camp to explore many other... More

Crescent Lake goes on forever. What a great drive to take on our way to Forks, WA. We had lunch at a site on the lake and it was quiet and peaceful.

While on a counter-clockwise tour of the peninsula, we stopped at the Storm King Ranger Station to make the short hike (1.5 miles) to Marymere Falls. Get there early in the summer months as parking fills up quick. If you're pulling a trailer or driving an RV, good luck finding somewhere to park. The hike begins and ends (it's an... More

We were simply trying to find the Storm King Ranger Station to start a hike out to a waterfall, when we discovered Crescent Lake along the drive. It's pristine and crystal clear waters were unbelievably beautiful and nestled between tall pines and hills. If you can ignore the sound of the highway nearby its actually quite serene. We took our... More

Beautiful, clear and cold. Two of the kids in our group jumped off the dock twice with great enthusiasm but then were done with the deeper water since it was so cold. Canoe and kayak rentals are available. The very picturesque lodge and cabins are a great backdrop to the lake and mountains.

Crescent lake is one of the most picturesque lakes I have ever seen with clean, clear water, towering mountains like Storm King and Pyramid, and shores lined with emerald forests. There are several lodging accomodations and cabin rentals available along the shores. There is a very scenic trail that I believe incircles the lake.
