Love this place! The lodge has a wonderful bar and restaurant with great food and views of the lake. There are trails for hiking. We have never stayed at the lodge, we just go for lunch and to hang out while driving the loop. The scenery is gorgeous!

We stopped at Crescent Lake at the boat launch, and for a hike on the Spruce Railroad Trail that leads to a bridge that overlooks a swimming hole. The water in this lake is possibly the bluest and most clear I have even seen in a lake. The hike on the trail was great. We only went about a mile... More

The lake is beautiful with mountains surrounding the area. Lovely flowering plants along the road during our summer visit. As others have said the blue is so unusual and beautiful it is hard to believe the color is real! The entire area in Olympic National Park is absolutely gorgeous! Take a trip and enjoy the experience of the beauty of... More

a short drive from Port Angeles. We walked along the lake, enjoyed the old stands of cedar and (hemlock?)....dipped our toes in this glacial lake. Also hiked up to the Falls which is close by and enjoyed that very much. It is a rain forest even tho' at the moment it is very dry. The falls continues to fall. :-)

We only drove by on Hwy 101, but the water was as blue as the ocean. We stopped several times for scenic pictures.

This picturesque lake is like a sapphire, it is the most amazing and penetrating blue! There were very few people on the lake (maybe because it was so cold), but from a scenic standpoint it was one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. As you drive the peninsula loop stop by one of the pullouts and check... More

My husband and I were told to go and see the old Crescent Lake Lodge and have a glass of wine while enjoying the views. This glacially carved lake is crystal clear and really beautiful! Don't miss walking up to Marymere Falls through the old growth forest.

Crescent Lake is one of the prettiest lakes I have ever seen. With pristine, calm waters nestled in the evergreen-covered mountains, the lake is a great stop on any Olympic National Park adventure. We took dozens of photos because the color of the water was almost too beautiful to believe.
