Driving on the Olympic Peninsula on our way to Forks for our Twilight homage, we followed the long and beautiful shore of Crescent Lake. We stopped and took lots of pictures but I can't seem to load them here. It's so beautiful that we are definitely going back to camp in our RV.

We were from out of town and didn't have access to a boat to play in the water. But the lake is very pretty and very cold but a nice drive around the lake.

We never get tired of visiting Crescent Lake. Its beauty and serenity are amazing. The hike to Marymere Falls is easy and excellent and dining at the Lodge is wonderful.

This lake is right off the highway and is worth stopping for. The picturesque mountains in the background make a great spot to stop and "take it all in". Didn't see anything worth making a trip to, but a very nice place to stretch and breath deep.

The lake is big and beautiful, though our expectations were set against many other lakes that we have been to in the Mt Baker area, Canadian Rockies, the Sierra Nevada and others. I can imagine it would be very nice to stay overnight at the lodge and really relax by the lake.

Crazy beautiful! The water is so clear you can see down over 100' but so cold. We had to jump in as it was just too gorgeous to pass up. The hills surrounding it just add to the incredible beauty. It is worth the stop!

Pristine mountain lake over 600 feet deep in parts. On a calm day, the visibility is amazing. Catch and release fishing only, with no-barb hooks that are not available at the lodge. Our favorite activity was taking out a kayak in the early morning. The water was like glass, and sooo clear! There are kayaks and canoes available to rent.... More

Like any other glacier lake, Crescent is sparkling blue and green. Along with the backdrop of hills, it makes such a wonderful sight. But be sure to visit this lake in the mornings. In the evenings the Sun's angle makes it almost impossible to appreciate the different colours. Marymere falls trail is an easy one. Be sure to add that... More

We stayed at Fairholm during a busy summer weekend. We arrived midday Friday, but quickly found it was full. The very nice hosts informed us that ALL the park campgrounds were completely full. If you go on a summer weekend, a backup plan is essential. We camped nearby that night (outside the park), but on Saturday grabbed an amazing site... More

We traveled alongside Crescent Lake for miles and miles. Road construction provided a few diversions, but the lake is magnificently beautiful.
