This large lake along 101 is really breathtaking. The steep, treed mountains provide an excellent backdrop for amazing pictures. The lake has many colors of greens and blues and makes you want to stop and enjoy it. I saw many kayakers and a few motor boats enjoying a refreshing day in the sun. Come see a lake that makes you say,Wow!!!!!

Lovely lake, we stayed at a nearby campground. Windy during the later afternoon, the lake is larger than Lake Quinault, depending on what water sports you love and how much space you need. There are day use pool outs in La Poel, you could even launch a canoe or kayak from a few of the day spots. The road down... More

A beautiful lake tucked among beautiful hills. The water is clear and nice to swim in. We didn't go to the larger resort, along Hwy 101, so can't speak to that. We went to the smaller one, Log Cabin Resort, along the northern shore of the lake. It's got a nice beach and you can rent canoes, kayaks, stand-up-paddleboards, even... More

Words cannot do Lake Crescent any justice. Surrounded by mountains and water as clear blue as you'll find in the Carribean. We spent an afternoon at the lodge swimming, jumping of the dock, floating, skipping rocks. It was perfection.

A slice of paradise in the forest. I don't know that I've seen a clearer lake in my life. We only got to spend a little time, but it looks like a place you could easily spend a day or more.

Crescent Lake is (in a word) gorgeous! A natural mountain lake with pristine views that are hard to find. Away from crowds and back to "summer camp" style ammenities. A great place to visit.

Lake Crescent is amazing and the campground offers amazing access to everything the lake has to offer however the campground is over crowded and the bathrooms are not the cleanest. Stayed for one night and was happy with everything but glad we were not staying more nights. Couldn't find a level place to pitch the tent but for one night... More

You will drive along this lake if you are driving to La Push, Rialto Beach or the Hoh Rain forest as well as if you're driving in the other direction heading towards Port Angeles or Sequim. You will want to stop at least once. There are numerous parks as well as places to camp. When I visited I stopped at... More

Our primary purpose of stopping at the lake was to have dinner at the lodge. Since we had time, went on a short hike to Marymere Falls. It is an easy hike of a round trip of just under two miles from the lodge - it is longer if you start from the Storm King visitor center. At the lake itself,... More
