I gave this an average rather not because its ucly but more because we drove the Oregon part of Highway 101 before the Washington part. And having said that Oregon part is more diverge and rugged. More to my liking

This route is a stunning way to get around Olympic NP in Washington. Not only does it take you to Lake Quinault and the Hoh Rainforest, but on the way you go past some beautiful beaches on the coastline, including Ruby Beach and Beach 4. These stops are not to be missed!

We took 101 from Seattle to San Fran. The ocean views are spectacular with the rocks. I recommend driving this road. Put it on your bucket list.

I drove Highway 101 from Kalaloch to Lake Crescent in my wife's BMW, and really got a feel for how wonderful this piece of highway is. The beauty is everywhere, and in a car with sporting contentions, the road is great. Happy motoring!

This is a drive everyone should make. It's spectacular to be in this part of the northwest. Lots of scenery to admire. Take your time. Stop along the way. Camp. Enjoy the outdoors!

We visited in may and had zero crowds on highway 101. We stopped at beaches and view points. Road is well maintained. But the scenery is beautiful. We didn't mind that you do not always see ocean. The forests are so pretty.

Beautiful scenery from Cannon Beach up to the Olympic National Park. There are just too many nice places to mention but you won't go wrong just driving up the coastline. You're not always in view of the ocean but it's a pretty drive nonetheless.

If you're visiting Olympic National Park, or any of the small towns that surround it, then this is THE main road to get you there and get you around it's perimeter. It is well-maintained, surprisingly so considering the number of heavy logging trucks that also use it. Some of the western stretches are just that ... long straight stretches of... More

It was kind of curvy, but it was easy to drive. the view of the mountain and ocean was wonderful. there were some retail stores or gas station at the side. It was a nice drive with the view!

Good highway in good condition. Lots of forest and beaches to see. Slow speed limit at 6omph for good reason since there are some areas that you would not want be going to fast.
